  1. Maybe not so strange but always catching frogs around Lilly pads when trying to catch bass.
  2. All these posts were informative , I started out with a spinning reel which most are left hand crank or retrieve and that is what got me use to using that style from then on , thanks for the input.
  3. Heard often said dark colors for stained water and light colors for clear water any thoughts on this?

I agree with all comments here.
  5. Don't feel bad my first trip I flipped it , lost some stuff and was soaking wet luckily no one was around to see this unfortunate mistake. It was a narrow body kayak not so good for fishing.
  6. Had a canoe using a trolling motor and put the battery in the rear in a Milk cart and secured it with bungy cords on the cross bar.
  7. jim49 changed their profile photo
  8. Have wondered over the years that most top water baits have elaborate color schemes on the top when in the water however the bass I assume only see what's on the bottom of the bait plus the skirt that hangs down , has this thought ever occurred to my fellow angler's?
  9. I am curious about right hand crank reels , I am right handed but use only left handed bait cast reels it feels natural for me , how many out there are like this?
  10. I like all those old school guys , but just to pick one is realy hard to say I have learned something from all of them.
  11. Not very big for a half day outing. I load what I need from my main box in to the backpack for that day.
