I need help
I live in the Florida Panhandle and it turns out, when it comes to Bass fishing, I don't have a good idea of what im doing. (I usually fish saltwater) Me and my buddy went to a lake yesterday and it it was a hot day. Temps in the 90's and very little wind. I really had not the slightest clue what to look for on days like this. During the spring I catch fish just by casting along the shoreline but yesterday that didn't work out at all. My question to you guys is what to look for on a day like this. Here's a contour map of the lake. http://myfwc.com/fishing/pdf/cmi-bmap.pdf

Your most productive/used Crankbait
What crankbait do you turn to when trying to cover a lot of water with moderate - heavy cover.

Senkos not working
I recently started fishing Senkos in ponds and you MUST have PATIENCE. You have to force yourself to be lazy enough to fish it right. Just lift it up off of the bottom every 10 or 15 seconds and if that doesn't work just wiggle it around the bottom, don't jig it, just wiggle it. It will produce but you gotta give it a chance.

Spinnerbait Suggestions
Usually I use grubs with double curly tails and chartruse in color. A company called renegade makes good and not too expensiver grubs made specifically made for spinner-baits. They are really soft and boyant which provides great action.

Spinnerbait Suggestions
Try Strike Kings pro series. I caught my first bass on that thing and have been catching many since. Use some kind of trailer for extra appeal.

Rapala DT crankbaits?
I fish north Florida and was wondering if they work and do the snag easily?

Zoom Salty Super Flukes
So it sounds like a twitch..twitch...pause works the best. Does it matter if you let it sink to the bottom during the pause or will the bass just hit it on the way down?

Zoom Salty Super Flukes
Anyone had any success with these on rivers or ponds before? If so what colors did you use and how did you fish it. Any information is greatly appreciated. I usually fish saltwater and I'm pretty good at it but when it comes to bass I'm like a 1 year old learning to walk. I've only caught 4 bass in my life and look forward to upping my skills with tips from this forum.
