  3. When it comes to fish with teeth.....I never leave home without the Bogas. Well worth the $100 bucks!
  4. It's one of my favorite times of the year for smallies. Jigging smallies through the ice can be hot at first ice. Depending how hard you want to work at it? I've had days of 30-40.....even more back in the day! On the Cape in Massachusetts, freeze up is a blessing if we get it. Choice of lures are these Gold-silver kastmasters are good to.   10. The morring was a little wet We manage to land few fish... I landed this nice smallie on a slammer And this largemouth Friend Rich with 4 nice fish Brian with his best 2 fish One of the 2 baits that seem to work
  11. 2 Presentations... for smallies Slow swimming the jig is a good choice, at times, deadly. Slow draging, and stopping the jig once in awhile on the bottom is a must. Here are some fly's that I drag on the bottom during the night "Bunny leech" Adding weight to these fly's, like a small splitshot is key at times.

  14. Boy does that place bring back memories... Bow lake back in the 70's had some nice smallies in it at one time. If you every get a chance, take a swim there and check out the smallies with a snorkel mask on.Use to feed the smallies out of my hands with live worms when I was a young lad of 7/8 years old. The place still have all the docks on it??? Because thats were WE USE TOO FIND THEM Good luck
