For those wondering what type of lures to throw in Fall!

Featured Replies

Another reason to throw those large swimbaits this time of year in New England!

Picture is DSOUTH on another site.

7.6 HAWG on the MS Slammer :D

I don't remember many pictures of swimbait/wakebait fish in the sun light.  Are they best after dark??

Best times: Dawn, dusk, night time, Day time w/a chop on the water, clouds. Though, I've caught-em on blue bird days as well.

The 3" worm on the drop-shot caught more fish and just as big as your slammer did yesterday. Maybe you need to retitle the thread Paul. :D

Sounds like a great day but it's the "Consistency" of size that makes you unable to put the big rod down.

Been catching 4-6 pound fish on it all summer. 8-)

Wow big stick little stick. Just who is who is the better stick TIN or LBH. LOL.

All kidding aside.

Swim baiting looks like a lot of fun if you have the wright conditions

IMHO Not a tournament bait thow.

Slammer hatter! >:(

Just as big??????? :-?BUUUUUUUUUUULLONY! The Slammer is much more of a LM lure then it is a SM lure. Yet, I must have been sleeping in the front of the jon when you caught/lost the 4lb+ Smallie on that itsy-bitsy wiener rig :D

The wind and rain died, conditions changed, and so did the bite. Lets put your theory to the test......  Once the doctors surgically remove your skirt and reinsert your nadds, let me know and will do this...........Slammer vs. drop shot @ Belville! ;D Challenge issued!!!!

Awaiting the date your available??????? :-/

You know I love the drop shot bud! But it's a ton of fun throwing the swimbait! In addition, when has the drop shot produced dinks like this.......... ;D

8.9lb Slammer fish, 9/08 Note the weather conditions.....sunny blue bird skies.
