I have no advice. Down near Lansing everything is behind, I know it's the same up there. I'd love to know water temps for a lake that far north. They're usually in post spawn with bellies full of mayflies this time of year on grand lake.

@A-Jay, have the smallies started spawning up there yet? I'm headed to grand lake in a week, and while I know you're not that far north, I know of no one who is, so I have no way of knowing what's going on up there. Also, is there any hope if the mayflies are hatching? Folks usually struggle the week we're there because there's a fresh layer of them on top of the water every evening. I like that in a lot of professional sports, the members of their respective halls of fame no longer compete. However, with something like fishing, an absolute shoe in like KVD could continue to compete for a long time, so the fishing hall of fame really doesn't have a choice but to induct him. Might as well do it now. Like the article states, he's one of the most recognizable names. It helps popularize the hall of fame by putting him in.
