  1. May make a trip Thursday if I do hopefully I’ll have a report.
  2. @Catt I found with their 8 pound fish the way it lived so shallow for that period of time interesting, and how that particular fish has two different homes in the summer months. And how most if not all the fish really had a small home range. But it makes sense bc we catch fish in historical places season after season year after year. I’m really ready to see how these transition months play out for there study.
  3. Finally got to sit down and watch the video out on what tpwl is doing with the bass study. Very interesting stuff
  4. Yep saw this the other day. I wonder how long they’re going to do the study I didn’t hear him say.
  5. Most definitely Wednesday I went to naconiche and only had 3 boats out on the water with me all day and Thursday Toledo I may have seen a hand full.
  6. Y’all all must be getting ready to climb a tree?
  7. Went today. Caught 8 had 9 bites. Biggest about 4-5 pounds rest healthy 2 pounders. Caught in a drain with road bed, jig chatterbait and spook. Don’t ask depth or water temp I don’t have a graph or thermometer and I left my depth stick at home. It was about a 10 count with the jig. I did have my map though.
  8. Pretty good these low 90 temps are way better than those low 100s i maybe off for 7 days in 2 weeks if you still need some help.
  9. Well dang was going to be pulling for you. ended up going to Kurth lake yesterday for anyone wanting to fish something a little different and smaller while the open is on Rayburn or you just need a change up from Toledo. Caught quite a few in the 3-5 pound range fishing deeper grass edges.
  10. @Bass_Fanatic you fishing the open on Rayburn?
  11. That was a bad sum b****
  12. I know time of year and day length have a lot to do with it but cold Mississippi River water may have an effect also. Could also be the type of cover they are around also?
  13. That’s what I was looking for sir thank you!
  14. Got word I have a tournament on toledo wind February 28th. Catt didn’t you say there is a site with tournament results and write ups on winning patterns some where on the interweb?
  15. I’ve been to busy catching these dumb red fish.
  16. Well got the boat sold and waiting to ship it off who wants to let me buy the gas and go lol
  17. Got a report. Me and the brother in law caught some chunky bass in the back of patroon spinnerbaits & muddy water. Your welcome.
  18. Idk how the fishing is but I know these briskets I’ve been cooking have been good.
  19. I dare you post that on Facebook lol
  20. Well I’m bored. So I was wondering what is a bait y’all use to throw and have replaced with the latest and greatest? Has to be still in production mine Is a bandit 100 series splatterback.
  21. Hopefully the vacation guys and tourneys go back to Toledo. Conroe looks like a top 150 tourney with 600 boats fishing it? Never had so many people drop a pin on my brush while I was fishing it ever.
  22. I’ve been wondering. You ever wear shoes @A5BLASTERblaster?
  23. That’s why I’m not getting out of my yak till may. My eyes are opened up to all the fish I was missing out on that I have by myself. It’s like they’ve never seen a bait and this isn’t just on Toledo it’s been everywhere I’ve gone lately.
