One of the most effective plastics I have ever fished: Rage Tail Baby Craw. We used to have a lot of chatter on this bait, but not so much in recent years. On one day during a BassResource Roadtrip at Pickwick the Baby produced 140 smallmouth for Big O and two soldiers he hosted. Additionally, both Warriors caught Personal Bests. T-rig this lure on spinning tackle, light line, bullet weight and a #2/0 worm hook. Let the Baby fall to the bottom, then slowly retrieve with an occasional lift. Be very careful, you might get your arm broke!

Think "dying shad".

Tie on a 4 lb free weight and GENTLY lift it off the floor. Leave plenty of margin, then tighten your drag.

White is my only spinnerbait color and my best color for a Rage Blade trailer. I like a white head on my Rage Swimmers, too.

White won't work, it looks too much like a shad.

They work well on hard bottoms, but even then you need to keep the Spy Bait just off the floor.

I like a weighted hook for horizontal presentations like the Rage Tail Swimmer. Otherwise, it's tungsten bullet weights for me.
