Squirrel and dumplin's Take four good Squirrels and boil them until tender, Take meat off the bones but save the broth, cut up 5-6 cans of cheap always save biscuits. Cut up each biscuit into 4 sections and roll each piece in a milk and butter batter and finally flour them. Now add seasonings and the squirrel meat eat to the broth. Get it boiling good and dump in your biscuits for about 20 min. Talking about good! This recipe usually requires sweet Tea and a foot stool {Bot flies are optional}

Truturn 3 ought was always my go to, but started using Gamahatzu last year and like em better. I believe I have a better hook up ratio on my 7in Red Shad . {My Fav}

As a Chaplain I have had that dreaded call call at 2 am to go knock on the door of families and tell them their worst fears come true. It never gets any easier to deliver such news, To see the fear and confusion that shows through their eyes is heart wrenching to say the least. I always pray before hand for the Holy Spirit to speak God's peace through me as I pray and hold them in my arms. There are no words at these times to make it any easier, but I have had people tell me later that just staying with them after the police leave, just sitting there and simply holding them while they wept, was what they needed most at this time. I pray peace for this precious family.

Come on down guys, To be honest all these lakes are promising and it is a good safe place to live. We all get along purty Gud. Dardanelle lake is a great catfish lake as well if that is of interest. Beaver is great for night fishing under the lights with big ole striped bass and hybrids in abundance.

Thank Y'all, Been learning some good stuff here already. The days are starting to warm up a little and it won't be long to that good ole spring blowup. I nearly need medication every spring, because the Morel mushrooms are popping, Crappie are biting, white bass are running and the turkey's are a gobblin. It's just way to much on a man all at once!

Just found Bass resource and "wow" lot's of good stuff on here. I am sure I will have lot's of questions, but maybe can help someone else as well. Bass and Crappie fish a lot. I'm pretty "old school" as I haven't even tried braid yet and I still think a brown 3/4 oz brown jig with an #11 uncle josh pork frog is the bomb diggity.
