Duckaholic, I have been purchasing some cheap crankbaits that are made in china of course but they have an awesome color scheme and tear bass up. My problem is that they are not coated in a "clear coat" like you use and the paint scheme doesn't last through very many fish. {Those spots and their teeth} What would be a good product to spray them with or seal them with? I know nothing about this kind of stuff.

Great job, I bought some bright orange fingernail polish to try on some of my older crankbaits, Maybe it will help a little bit. I got to noticing that some of of the crawdads that were in the bass's mouth had bright orange dots on them and on the tips of their claws and some do not, Those are more of a pumpkin green/brown color. Idk I guess there are different breeds of crawfish.

Lol, pretty cute stuff right there. Kids amaze me with some of the things they can come up with.

UPDATE! My representative just called from the courthouse and so far has traced my land back to 1958, The road was there, but nothing recorded so far, that states a recorded easement. This was originally sold by a real estate that is long gone. This road was there before the lake was ever constructed and flooded and back then people didn't worry about easements because everyone could get along. The real estate saw it was going to be lake front property soon and sectioned parcels off, would be my guess but IDK guys ??

I have the same one. It is an XDS correct? Oops never mind, I overlooked the 13 rd mag part. Mine is a XDS which is very accurate but not many rounds.

My two cents: First; look into a sneaky pete or that type of holster. Most people just think it's a cell phone case. As for summer carry there are many options and choices, However the best answer is what are you comfortable shooting.. A well placed 22 round, is way more potent than a 50 cal that misses the intended target. I carry 9mm mostly, however in certain situations like when I am preaching, I carry this. Double barrelled 22 mag shown below. I actually shot a field rat with this gun at 10 yds in my barn. It is not my first choice of course, "but is loads better than a rock". When I first took my CCP, The instructor ask my what my comfort range, If someone pulled a knife and started running at me? WELL, I said about 300 yards and he cracked up. The truth is and what he doesn't know, is that I often shoot across a powerline where I hunt at a friends place and with my ruger 308, I kill deer regularly, so I was just being honest. lol Whatever you choose, practice often and always pray for the best, but be prepared for the unexpected.

Simple is always better. 2/0 for most everything I fish, Until I get into 10in or above worms then I go bigger.

FIRST UPDATE. Just found out that there are three more small parcels that are at the end of this old road that join me. These people live out of state and have no idea they have been locked out. {This is a long big peninsula on the lake so the Corps line goes all the way around the sides} So these poor people are worse landlocked than me, {However I will let them through my land anytime they wish} This old road goes all the way through the peninsula, Through the edge of all our properties unto the last tract which is 5 ac which stops of course at the Corps land. I hope this makes sense? My representative is searching for the original or initial survey and division of land right now. {idk how long this will take} I am wondering if these people that live out of state might help me in disputing this, so that is my next step is writing them letters.

I just don't have the heart to ask for my money back. I know I probably could, but I don't want to cause someone else misery. And like Everyone is saying, I shouldn't give into this bullying. { Besides I made the mistake of jumping on this deal without checking the easement, so it's really my fault} I will search tomorrow at the courthouse and see what I can find. I know for a fact that the old road was established 21 years ago, I don't know when the survey was done? Two of my markers are white Corps stakes, and as stated earlier, he has painted all the way around mine with with purple paint. Looks like mardi Gra around there and I am not sure his "artwork" is completely in line with my back corner markers either but I haven't checked to be exact. To be perfectly honest what hurts the most is knowing that I spent all my savings for land so foolishly. Being disabled on social security means a very very tight budget and I just got to excited way to fast when I found this place. I should have done some checking around before buying it. I feel pretty silly now.

I wonder if he would be made to pay all the associated cost then? I honestly can't afford to fight it.

Wow! That would be awesome. I just talked to someone that told me the law has had "lots" of problems with them in the past 50 years, because even if you drive down that dirt road "to slowly" they will turn you in as a poacher and the law enforcement {Game and Fish} gets extremely mad because they harass everyone to death, calling the sheriff's office 10 times a day on innocent people. {This may help me.} It seems everyone else around just stopped paying their land taxes and let their land default and go to the County, and so then these people buy it at the Courthouse steps, very cheap, also people have gave in and donated their land to them because they think that they have no other choice. I am only a very small duck in a very large pond here. But I plan to make some waves because I don't care much for greed.
