  1. I guess America is a basic country, or is it something or someone else that's the basic one. I just figured I would get everybody's opinion of this.
  2. Yes, I'm doing a high school tournament there in July. I know nothing about summer fishing at this lake. I've only fished every other time of year there lol.
  3. I'm really surprised about green pumpkin being so popular, I guess it's time to keep fishing with it til I get bit.
  4. I've had people tell me they have heard Jerry, Yearly, and Lanny.
  5. LOL, that's what my friend hears, they don't hear yanny it's yammy. My other friend hears Haley for some reason.
  6. @roadwarrior is the bomb, he has everything about everything on here. He's the father of BR. lol
  7. The big thing had been tearing everybody apart by what they hear, if you haven't listened to the audio, you gotta listen to it. It's crazy how you can hear two different things in one word.
  8. If they aren't spawning it can be from laying on clay bottom in the summer or winter time, did you keep the fish?
  9. Because if people are like me and can't buy every color out there to use, what do they like to use color wise, that works best. There are some baits out there that work better on certain colors, they are imitating certain things. I was just asking a simple question bro.
  10. I've never caught a fish on green pumpkin where I live, the only natural color I can get bit on is a watermelon seed or watermelon red color. Far as topwater goes I throw white bottomed baits on stormy days and dark bottomed baits on sunny or blue bird days. Crankbaits, I don't go out of the bait fish colors. Jigs I like to throw a watermelon red color, or orange, purple and black, black and blue.
  11. If you had to choose one color for a crankbait, a jig, a plastic or even a topwater, what color do you like to throw?
  12. I figured the percentage would be lower for the none one. It's very effective on certain days.
  13. Congrats, those rigs are key on some days especially if your a tournament angler.
  14. They make frog?? What's next duck or snake?
  15. I tell you what, y'all let me know how that goes for ya. I'll be at the house watching tv instead of fishing in the lightning.
  16. I love to throw those big blue gill swim baits on the beds. They have worked great for me this season.
  17. Tungsten tungsten tungsten only use tungsten!!!!!!!!! Use what you like, but I love how sensitive it is. It's actually not that expensive either.
  18. Sorry, what I meant with pegging was being right up against the weight.
  19. Yes waiting to long will sometimes cause you to gut hook a bass. When they short strike though, you have to let them take it longer. When it comes to bed fishing, what you need is a good pair of shades and you need to wait til that bass picks up that bait completely and then set the hook. With bedding bass, you shouldn't have any issues with a bass swallowing a bait, when they are on the bed they aren't hungry, they are protecting their bed. They don't eat the bait, they are just moving it out of their bed. They aren't gonna inhale it like they would when they are feeding, it's just gonna be a subtle little tap and that's when you see your line moving, perfect time to set the hook. Hope this helps good luck next time.
  20. I still use them, if you peg the weight it defeats the purpose of the bead. I leave it free so it makes the clicking noise to imitate that crawfish noise.
  21. My favorite bait, I have it on year round. If your looking for that kicker fish in a tournament, that's the bait to throw.
  22. Chatter bait and swim jig all the way baby!!
