Does anyone recommend an aftermaket seat? I see the ones they sell at BassPro and Cabelas, but the reviews on those are not too good. I hate having a full seat in the front for the same reasons. Im a big guy and the seat is too low and uncomfortable to fish with all day long. I would rather lean. Who makes a good one? And what pole do you reccomend? Thanks

I have the 480 too. Love it! Best $200 I spent. If I was gonna spend the big bucks Id get those side imaging birds now. But i dont. Could you imagine a $2000 unit on a 16 foot G3 with a 25hp 4 stroke! ;D

If you want some monster smallies from the Quabbin, Go out of Gate 31 and nail all the coves on the western side. Use senko type baits and hold on! I love that place, I try to fish it at least 3-4 times a year.

I would have to say a Mizmo 3.5 tube followe by a 4 inch wacky senko type.
