Balsa Cranks
Here's a small batch I finished up this week. Been trying to improve my shad colors on the flat sided baits.

A few more cranks
Thanks guys Skillet, both baits in the first two pics are the same body style. Bait 1 has a soft wobble and bait 2 has an aggressive rod shaking wobble.

Bluegill Repaint.
very nice color pattern, the work looks very clean.

A few more cranks
Just personal preference I guess. The idea is for the bass to key in on the bait around the front hook. The truth is it's probably more window dressing than functional.

A few more cranks
Here is the rest of the baits from this weekend. Now if I can only find some time to enjoy my work.

A few cranks
Here are a few baits I finished painting this weekend. It was fun to paint without a heater running for a change.

Product's of huffing paint this weekend....
Good looking batch of baits, glad to see you still have the touch.

Finally Did a Shad Pattern
Marc, I would love to see the shad without scales or just scale along the shoulders of the bait. I think the colors you used look really good.

Balsa Eye Candy
John, my painting skills are just weak, that's best I can do. I know those Ind smallies are too smart for baits like these but the Ark largies are dumb.

Balsa Eye Candy
Here are a few smaller balsa cranks I just finished. Nothing special on the colors, just plain old patterns.

Custom hand poured SNAKES
Those are cool

Recent work
Great looking baits as always.

Couple of LC Pointers
You should paint more, those look great. My clear coat does not like pointers, so I never paint them.

more baits ready to go
Holy crap those are nice swimbaits.
-
Lipless balsa crankbait
That's cool. Did you seal the wood and clear coat?
-
Square billed cranks
Easy to paint that color on any bait. I would use a slightly lighter blue on the next one for a little better contrast against the black. Overall I was real happy with that color pattern.

Any Pelican Bass Raider Owners Out There?
I love mine and this is my second. I just throw in the back of my truck and off to the lakes. 45lb thrust trolling motor and this baby will move. Fishing two people is not the greatest from the 8ft boat.

Custom Wiggle Warts
Marc, that's fine brush work there.

Square billed cranks
Here are a few stump knockers I finished this week.

a few from this week
All the baits look great Cliff.

Figuring out diving depth
1 inch of bill length will equal 6-7ft, that's a good starting point.
-
Fat and standard PVC baits
All the baits look great Ben. Splatter the back of the red craw and that thing is mine. I really like the simple details on that bait, may have to borrow that from you. 3rd bait in the second pic is really nice.

New balsa cranks
I use a tooth brush to do the splatter.
-
New balsa cranks
Really helps keep the hook from getting tangled.

New balsa cranks
Got a few painted before this bitter cold set in. My airbrush does not like the really cold temps in my shop.
