BigM baits story
First what is a rock fish? Thanks for the cool story, 52" muskie, 48" pike, 22lb bull red, 25lb fresh water drum, and now a 16lb rock fish. These are the biggest fish caught on my baits so far. Balsa baits are not weak if you build them right.

Finally had time to get out in the shop and paint again!!
All those baits look good. Are you using a photo finish as a base coat (so to speak) on the bream patterns?

Fix a crank?
Post a pic of the bait so I can see the lip area. It's real tricky to do that repair but I have fixed a few.

Blowed up (swollen) Long A's
I cannot believe you gave out the secret bait. Now there will be blown up long A's all over the place. By the way I have witnessed first hand the destruction the fish try to put on that particular bait.

Big batch of cranks
Thanks for the all the kind words. John, no Petey style baits in this batch but the last bait is a Charlie O clone.

Here are few more that I've finished up recently.

My latest idea: non-fixed weighting system in PVC cranks
If you put the fixed weight in the same location in the baits the action will be the same between the two. The free floating weight does not have enough room to move around and change the action. If you look at some of the old plastic baits they had weights that move from side to side to double has a rattle. Good looking bait there.

Few new ones
Those baits look good but that's not the batch I'm waiting to see

Painting Help Needed
Iwata Revolution CR, finest of the beginner airbrushes. The .35mm tip will shoot any airbrush ready paint even the heavy pearls. Easy to clean and stands up to me (not an easy task).
