Mini MR Repair
Send them back to LC because there is really no way to re-pair those baits.

How Does He Do It?
KVD is like a pro golfer in that his tech skills are perfect and his equip is perfectly matched to him. Even if you used his equip the chances of you matching his casting distance are slim at best.

What Are You Working On
I'm working on about 30 cranks for a new friend.

M.S mini slammer modification?
I doubt another hook would affect the action. Make sure to seal the area around the hanger so the water cannot get to the wood.

Another Clear Coat Question
Kb, I can do six med sized cranks after letting a mixed batch sit for 10 min. I don't thin my clear coats. I wait at least 12hrs before doing the 2nd clear coat. Mix the clear coat in a medicine cup, you can get them at a drug store. Mix that batch really good, let sit 10 min then brush on the bait. Flex coat will take at least 24 hrs to fully cure.

Eclipse BS Cleanup
Pull the needle and wipe it down with an old t-shirt. Pour some water from the color cup out the back of the brush and it should be good to go. I only take my brush apart about every 3 months for super cleaning. I've been using a mix of dish soap and tap water to clean with. I'm getting away from the windex as it's eating the chrome from the color cup. I use about 3tps of soap to a half gallon of water and it's working good so far.

Another Clear Coat Question
I clear all my jointed baits in pieces and then put them together. I've never tried to clear coat a commerical made jointed bait. I like 2 thin coats on my baits. I would suggest that you practice on a couple of old baits first. The baits need to turn at least 2hrs and then you can hang them up to finish.

Deep water cranks
Here is a batch of deep divers I just finished. This batch will cover the water from 10-22+. The first pic is the magnum diver and I had to cut the lip off so it would fit. The bait is over 7 inches long and weighes 1.5oz.

new bait videos
I can tell you from personal experience the little blue gill looks just that good in the water. John you are the man when it comes to swim baits.

New Cranks and topwater
Skillet, That bait will run 10-12ft and has a mod wobble. Very high floater and good in deep brush. Like the straight lipped DB3, which it was patterned after.

Crank Makers...
I've never counted how many baits I build per month or year. Each bait takes anywhere from 2-5 hrs of hands on time depending on the style of bait. With all the drying times included for sealer and clear coat then it's several days per bait.

New Cranks and topwater
Here are a few new baits I just finished.

Another Clear Coat Question
Remember to let the mixed batch sit for 10 min before you start brushing it on. If you see any tiny bubbles on the bait just exhale on it.

Green sunfish swimmer
