Yeah. Looks good!! So I am in a Pantera IV. They discontinued my boat to make room for the Caracal. which is 6" wider and will take a 225. P4 only allows for 200hp If you see us out there say hello. I got my relief shading set and the boys are eager to lean into some pigs.

never been south of cypress. likely start in palo gaucho. know more about the north end. i will be going where my relief shading takes me. lol 19' basscat with a 200. i feel comfortable with the boat lanes and all. i think i need to plan for a trailering tournament. 11 mph sounds like a lot.

240 boat tournament sat/sun. We practice friday SSW 11 MPH Saturday. Can we navigate that out of cypress bend. ?

I forgot they moved our tourney up this year. Looks like I will be in 15' of water.

Coming to the lake this Friday - Sunday. A hundred plus boat 'boat show' hanging around the mouth of Housen.

How bad are they beating our our fish up your way?

what is water clarity looking like up your way? we fish san patricio and surrounding areas for this high school tournament we have coming 3/1 - 3/3 staying there too. so we are really committed to the area.

well, what i mean is, a lot of those guys are more comfortable flipping brush. i dont mind fishing offshore on breaks. will be nice to finally have a flipping option for a change. it is always low when we come.

thanks. seems like everytime i come up it is low. that would be nice for the high school kids. they would catch a lot of fish

We found them on wood friday and sat but couldnt get bit there sun moved off and fished grass for our sunday bag

Our High School team got some bites on a trick worm(secret color) and chrome/black back rattle trap early. Sadly, they were in a small area and couldn't get out of it to cover more water. Had an early weigh in time today.... otherwise they might have had a shot at a couple of more. Bites picked up again after 3:00 like the day before. They launched at Solan Camp. 12.62 pounds. Biggest was 17.5" Outside of the top 15 of the 158 boat tournament. The teams weighed 3 bags over 20 pounds. 1 was barely shy of that. 15th place was 15 pounds. So some people found them.

Thanks. I hate going when it is low, but we don't pick the dates. LOL We have a bunch of spots to try. Just trying to narrow things down. And this was very helpful. Thanks. And thanks to Catt. . Catt: I assume those creeks you mentioned just warm up sooner than others? Never been to any of them but we will be doing a lot of driving around and will take a look.

Yep. Just want to monitor temps until we come up. I think our teammate might be able to prefish about a week before. I cannot. Just trying to do a little homework. Btw.... we launch out of san miguel on the 5th and 6th as you may know. We can go anywhere.... But will likely stay close to this area. Maybe as far south as cypress bend for a few spots we know on the Texas side. And likely staying close to miguel and lanan for these other spots we like. But I will be scouring the hook & line map between now and then and looking at temps
