I think i will buy a bps extreme baitcaster on a falcon lowrider rod. Should i get a meduim or medium heavy rod?

no it is not my first baitcaster but i wondered if i would be able to cast effectivly. Im looking to spend around 250 dollars what would you reccomend?

Ive got some money buring a hole in my pocket and i want to buy a new setup for plastics. I fish weightless senkos along with texas rigged plastics most of the time. My question is will i be able to throw a weightless senko with a baitcaster or would I be better off going with a good spinning setup.

Shimano citica or the bps extreme($70) is also a great reel

go with a 12 footer. I have a 12 and it fits in the back of my s10 6 foot bed with the tailgate down and it is very lite. Heck anything beats fishing from shore. Good luck

Hey just bought my first bait caster and wondered how to spool line on. Do you just wrap the line around the spool and tie a knot or what?

I wondered if anybody else has had problems with them, once I had the manager tell me that a 7.1:1 baitcaster meant that it had 7 ball bearings and for 1 turn of the handle the spool would spin once. Also bought a trolling motor there and it took them 30 min to get it out of storage and to the counter where i was waiting. And also bought a reel and was dissapointed in it and brought it back hours later and they would not give me a full refund. Long story short will never buy anything there again.

I bought this tackle bag from bps it can be carried on your back like a back pack and holds a ton of baits.
