  1. Need to go to GYCB website, Gary himself fishes these baits with weights and without. I've fished them on a Spot Remover jighead and caught a few!
  2. Look out! There's a Berkley GULP Spray out there NOW!!!
  3. ever heard, if the moon will hold water, the fish will bite?
  4. Does anybody use a rod wrap for their cork handles? Mine are getting pretty tore up from all the use, was thinking about getting some wraps for them? Anybody got some reviews on how well they work, and where do you get them?
  5. Had the same problem here with Vanish on my spinning reels! switched to Seaguar Invizx and made a BIG improvement, but still have some line twist, just started to attach my floro to Power Pro Braid and "wha-la" hardly no more line twist! will re-spool my other spinning reel with braid and attach a 3ft floro leader.
  6. What do you guys prefer to throw? a jig or t-rigged plastic craw, and why? I like to throw the jig a lot, or t-rig baby brush hog, or paca craw, but not both, just to many rods on the deck then!
  7. Actually, I've got them both! The 2500 models, and I have to say the Tierra feels a tad smoother, but the Advantage looks better! If you blindfolded me and I casted with each, I couldn't tell you the difference, it's that close!
  8. If I wanted to make my weightless superfluke or senko fall a bit faster using florocarbon, which lb test should I use? 12lb or 15lb? 12lb because it's thinner with less resisitance or 15lb because it'a heavier and a little stronger? I've baffled myself with question and figure I'd ask the experts here!
  9. They make a weighted/weedless/red wide gap hook, (1/32- & 1/16 oz), you can get them at another site.com they work for me, when I want some weight for wacky rigging, in the wind!
  10. I bought some of them bad boys, after reading articles about it on here, and I find it hard to believe they weigh a 1/2 oz with a 4/0 hook! I tried it rigged backwards and forwards, and it sure didn't sink like it weighed a 1/2 oz! it sank more like an 1/8 oz,....maybe. Do your Ika's fall that fast?
  11. you can try to spray some lubricant on the cable and work it in,,, but from I've found out, it's probably to late, and you'll have to bite the bullet and buy a new one, hopefully not a dual cable! that's twice the cost!
  12. tried the gulp sinking minnow on the shakey head and caught some! but the real secret is using a zoom vibra craw or paca craw!!!!!!! I hope not many read this post or all is lost? just a tip to be different!
  13. Yep, good battery for the price. I was questioning them at first too, but I read a post on a site about them, and if you have problems with them, you can exchange them at any wallyworld, and theres one on every corner now a-days! Going on 3 years for this set and 0 problems. Dang things are HEAVY too!
  14. Now that's educated Bass!!! WoW, what fishing pressure.
