  1. Ok that’s perfect! I had started a thread two days ago for Classic so if a mod wants to delete it no worries, this is such good info and a great site! Can’t wait to get out there Jaime, Berryessa is full and calling my name. We need to hit the delta too! I think these boats will do just fine out there as long as it’s not super windy. What’s everyone’s thoughts on the trolling motor? I do wanna upgrade but hope to make it work for a bit.
  2. I know this is the Heritage thread but with my Classic on the way and the fact that they are basically the same boat I just wanted to thank everyone for all the info on this thread. Can’t wait until my boat shows up and I can make some upgrades like some have. With our lakes here in NorCal getting nice and full I’m excited about the spring!
  3. I hope you are correct, perhaps they were playing it safe, ordered it two weeks ago.
  4. Thanks Bricker, I’m close to Berryessa and will be heading up to my old stomping grounds at Shasta if you even want to meet up!
  5. Agreed that construction and layout are excellent. Rough water would not interest me in the least and the lakes I fish are typically pretty calm so no issue there, I definately wouldn’t hit the pacific in it lol!
  6. Yep and we are excited! Thanks for hearing from you Tom, can’t wait to get out there.
  7. Hey I knew there would be some folks from CA, I’m close to Sacramento and love to check out new water once my boat comes in, maybe I will drift your way!
  8. Agreed on the bow and stern lines. I have transported kayaks a bunch, and multiple at a time as that’s what we use freediving. Safety safety safety, for you and others on the roadway. Attaching to the handles isn’t perfect but better than nothing. The bow and stern lines are there for an emergency if something were to happen with your straps your using to keep the yak on the cross members. If they fail the kayak will fall onto the side of the vehicle but not tumble down the freeway due to the bow/stern lines holding it. Gonna cause some damage but everyone walks away.
  9. Gotta give a thumbs up to Tracker boats for releasing the Bass Tracker Classic as a follow up to the Heritage. I like the motor upgrade and if you were not a fan of the brown carpet then perhaps gray is your color. I couldn't walk out of Bass Pro shops without putting a deposit down on one a few weeks ago and I am anxiously awaiting its arrival (estimate was 12-14 weeks but we all know it may be longer). For me, and I will state again "for me" because I know opinions vary, it has everything I want for me and my son to get out there fishing at a price a working man can afford. Anyone else out there order one? I hear some folks are taking delivery from earlier orders so I'd love to hear from anyone about their boat when they get it and their maiden voyage. Tight Lines! Matt

Hello, what’s the brewski of choice?
  11. I’d say welcome as though I have been here a while but that’s weird since I just joined lol, hello! How you like your tracker? Just ordered a Classic and floorplan looks similar to yours. Matt
  12. Hello to all! New to the site and love all the information already. Been fishing all over Northern California my whole life (over forty but act 22 lol) and I’m especially excited as I have just ordered a new boat to get me and the kids out there more. Family, fishing, bbq, with an emphasis on NASCAR as well Looking forward to being a part of things, learning even more and thank you all in advance for the time ahead. Tight Lines! Matt
