Recently purchased this reel and can’t seem to get it tuned in and find the sweet spot with the tension and breaks. The spool is out of control in a way no matter how I set the brakes or tension. I’m sure it’s some form of user error but I’m not sure what yet I could be doing. Any ideas on how I could fix this issue?

I’d really like to sell some of my rods and reels of decent quality but I’m not sure what platform would be best for me to sell them on. Any recommendations on how to sell this gear would be greatly appreciated.

Just purchased a Daiwa tatula elite 7’3 medium spinning rod for my all around finesse bass rod. I’m looking for a reel around $200 dollars to pair with it. I’m looking at the shimano vanford and was wondering if there was a better reel for the price.

Ik this is generally a bass page but I need some help from my fellow hard water anglers. I’m in the market for a good deadstick rod for perch and smaller walleye. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased one of these reels last fall and I can’t get any casting distance on any sized bait. Is there anything special I have to do to dial this reel in to get casting distance? I have 40 pound power pro on it.

I have tried many flipping hooks and they always tear up the bait with no real advantage from what I can tell. I would appreciate some tips that relate to flipping hooks.

I have recently purchased 2 spinning setups and don’t know what line to put on them. I have a medium and medium light with 300 size spinning reels on them. What line would you recommend for each?
