as most of you know i went fishing yesterday and had a little luck. well today i went to another pond near the house that i have caught some pretty good bass in. when i got to it my jaw dropped. the owner of the land had almost completley drained it to irrigate his field. i literally walked almost across the pond without getting wet. i stopped near the edge and i could see two good fish swimming around and another one that was huge. i tied on a my trusty kvd series spinnerbait that i have manipulated a little and on the third cast caught one of the smaller fish he weiged 4lbs 5 ounces. about ten more casts later i finally agitated the other smaller one into biting he weighed 3lbs9ounces. well guys i fished for another 3 and a half hours throwing everything i had in my box at that big fish. spinnerbaits,buzzbaits,worms,jerkbaits,softplastics,plugs,jigs,crankbaits nothing would make this fish bite. i am going to try him tomorrow with some live shiners if that dont work im going to buy me a stick of dynamite because that fish is huge and would make me a new pb. well the pond is a pretty good sized pond for around here and the baitfish is minnows and bream.

caught a two foot gator on a brokeback rebel plug clam on a rooster tail foul hooked a shad with a rattlin rogue myself in the back bullfrogs with spindandy catfish with a spinnerbait cousin caught a six pound bass on a leaf six pound striper ate my redbreast that i had caught then i reeled him in and he had a tag in him thats all that i can remember besides my pb on a dead shiner. went out yesterday to a pond behind my church to see if i could catch some bass i was throwing this little matzou crankbait and caught 10 in a hour all of them weighed about a pound or a pound and a half. the fish in that pond dont grow very big for some reason i have fished it for 3 years and the biggest i have caught was 3lbs. GBF

great topic basswest i have always thrown my line under the console of the boat and then disposed of it at home and another thing is line in your props i have personally had to pull my boat to the edge of the lake to cut line out of my trolling motor and it sucks. GBF

3-6ft with logs stumps anthing like that for good bass hiding spots and ambush points. GBF

well before the tournament i had picked Gerald swindle to win and kvd in second but it doesnt look that one happend. GBF

trust me hooks in the head are not fun i did it one time crappie fishing with a small roostertail i will dig up pics if i can but since when is a hook anywhere fun. GBF

cosign my friend i love that color and really any color that is blue or silver to match the shad. GBF

cosign on that one sam the man yeah his bloopers are hilarious he is probably my favorite fisherman with ike coming in second.but to answer your question no i dont have them or know anyone who does but i would think it would be worth it because he really knows what hes doin. GBF

thanks yeah she was pretty healthy i had one on i am positve that was bigger than her i hooked her on a plastic worm in some weeds and she jumped out of the water looked at me smiled at me then spit the worm at me. GBF

Well as some of u may know i had a junior tournament last saturday and some of u gave me some great advice and i thank u for it because i did win the tournament and got the big bass bonus Angler:Gary Harris Fish:5 Weights:fish1:6'9 fish2: 3'7fish3: 3'2fish4: 2'6fish5:1'10 Total weight: 17lbs 3ounces thanks alot guys i caught the big one fishing a white and blue spinnerbait around some logs and the rest were caugt on jigs or horny toads then went fishing on sunday in a river in georgia and didnt do to good. two of us caught 6 and i dont think any of them weighed over 2.thanks again guys pics will be coming soon.
