What's this boat worth?
You want a project then you will have it. I'd say you could part it out and make money. The trailer alone with some used tires would bring a couple of hundred. Find the right wrench and you can get some cash for the motor.

Ned rig weedless wire
I tried a few heads that I bought but did not like the hooks on any of them so I bought some Gammy 1/0 hooks and some Surflon 45# coated wire. It is plenty stiff for weed guard.

Bimini top
My wife had a bimini top on her boat. It was near worthless. In order to keep anyone in the shade I couldn't fish where I wanted to. It really was only good around noon in the summer. She takes an umbrella when she goes with me and wants shade.

Front navigational lights
It may just need to be cleaned. Often the prongs that are in the boats recessed part get corroded and need to be cleaned. If try cleaning the connections on the boat and the light. I've had to do that more times than I can count.

Anyone throw Pink Worms or baits as a first choice or consistently?
I use a lot of bubble gum in pre spawn.

Transducer question
Not every one on YouTube has a full sack of marbles. I turn mine on in the parking lot and turn it off in the parking lot.

Z man soft plastic issues
The ones I have are made by Flambeau and not made of PVC.

Devils Horse vs Cordell
I used to fish the Devil's Horse until I got a Boy Howdy. I missed a lot of strikes on the DH as it sets flat on the water. The BH is rear heavy and I caught a lot more on them because the hook up rate was higher.

Fast or mod fast for spinnerbaits?
I go up to my H rods for my 1/2 oz plus spinnerbaits. I'll use a MH for lighter weight ones. I use the same rods for them as I do my A rigs with the reels changed.

Z man soft plastic issues
Elaztech and PVC are not friends. I learned the hard way.

Help identifying tube jig
Oldham makes something similar.

Dobyns Fury or Fenwick HMG (spinning)
I only know about the HMG. I have 7 of them. Some of them date back to the mid 90s and keep on going.

help with wiring
Get yourself a "fish tape". Start it at one end along the inside of the gunnel and run it to the other end. Then tape the cable to it and pull it back.

Spinning or casting for bass jig or Texas rigged.
I don't use braid with leaders any more. I never found a knot that I liked. I can tell you that I was getting my butt kicked with me in the front of my boat when I was using 10# mono and the guy in the back was using 12# fluoro. It took 2 trips before I was smart enough to switch. I say use fluoro if you are going to go braid with a leader.

Kansas winter bass fishing
Ned, shaky and Arig are my go to baits in the winter. A rig and shaky have been most productive lately.

Questions regarding technique
I watch my line where it goes into the water. When I lift or twitch a bait off the bottom, I let it fall back to the bottom before I take up the slack.
-
Braided Line Cutter
I use scissors from the sewing department at Wal-Mart.

Solix and Solix
Anyone running 2 of them? I have one paired with my MK ulterra and thinking about another one in the console? Does this combination present any issues?

Mercury 4 Stroke reliability / Warranty
I used to sell extended warranties as part of my job. We loved to sell them and they were seldom ever used.
-
ned rig weight
I mostly use 1/16 and 3/32. Once in a while I use 1/8 because it is easier to throw on a bait caster.

Trolling motor opinions
A google search of motorguide and minn kota can answer all of your questions.

Sharpening hooks
I only sharpen my hooks on A rigs because the are always getting hung up.

Is bed fishing ethical?
Lots of tournament guys around here catch the males off the beds and are proud to do it. I personally think that it should be illegal. Once that male is gone those eggs are exposed to all the little predators lurking nearby and can no longer be kept away. I don't know how this can happen but I'd still like to see it.

Bent a guide and cracked epoxy
If it were mine I'd put another coat of epoxy on it.

Crawfish colors and soft plastics
I recently saw a craw that was taken from a bass's mouth. It was green with orange splotches on it. I came up with something similar but could not get a bite on it. With that said my main colors have been root beer, black and plumb. I don't think match the hatch most of the time. I think change colors till I get a bite.
