  1. You can put canned vegetables on your engine block and let it heat them for you while you drive.
  2. Read the reviews of the seller and pay with paypal.
  3. If they are going to bring that puppy all the way back here to the plant in Lebanon, MO, you are going to be without a boat for a very long time. Unfortunately, your warranty doesn't mention time not or the water. If just says repair or replace.
  4. That is news to me. The only Cobras with which I am familiar are custom made ride arounds from California. I'd be interested in knowing who bought them out. I kind of lost track of them after Charlie Luna sold out in 2002.

If you want it cheap or maybe even free check out hospitals and group doctors' offices. They get radioactive meds in lead containers. I got over 200# of it free a few years ago. If you have any metal recycling centers check them. I bought lead for .25 # at one a while back.
  6. I use microsoft data base. It allows all I want and them some.
  7. Go for the DI or 4 stroke because if EPA keeps going that will be all we are allowed to put on the water. Carbs and EFI have been banned from some waters for the last several years.
  8. I use mono for cranks and braid for spinnerbaits. The braid on spinnerbaits allows me to feel subtle takes that I would never know about on mono until it would be too late.
  9. When I swim a jig I rarely set the hook. I let the fish set it for me. I use several different sizes of jigs and that brings in several different styles and sizes of hooks.
  10. There is a good chance that it isn't on the boat but on the motor. Check the lower unit to see if there is a small hole in the front of it. If it is and is clogged take a small 1/8" or less drill bit and twist it (by hand only) into the hole and pull it out. A couple of times like that and the hole will be cleared of debris.
  11. I'm way the other way with my favorite jerkbait rod. It is a 6'10" Bronzeback that is medium light. It has been working great for me.
  12. X2 Mike will take care of your needs. If you want to do your own painting, get them without the weedguard installed.
  13. I'm pretty sure your X125 won't hook up with the ethernet which would allow xducer sharing and eliminate all the cross talk. In order to nullify the interference and keep the unit turned on for wpt use you can go into the menu and stop the chart. That will only kill the 522's ability to send out pings and your X125 will function like it was the only unit in the boat. When you pull up the tm just start the chart again and go. It is a lot faster than having to reacquire the sats. From the sonar page press MENU go to STOP CHART press enter. To get off press STOP CHART again and press exit.

Any old jig can swim but I like the poison tails. I use a trailer that I make. I'd post a pic but this site will no longer let me post pics.
  15. I carry 23 setups from 5' ultra to 8'6" FnF. I keep my baits in 3600 boxes and carry about 20 of them[.
  16. If you are fishing short times and know parallel then get the 12V and run them both at the same. You can charge them both at the same time. That way you save $200 and have a charger thrown in.

Once in a great while I'll use one on a jigging spoon but not very often.
  18. Line to line Alberto's Line to bait 16/20
  19. A stitch in time as the saying goes, rebuild the carbs and maybe save a new powerhead.
  20. There is no way it will hold 1/2 gal of fluid. If you pumped it in from the bottom and it ran out the top you are good to go. I have a 225 Merc and it takes less than a qt. to fill it.

Once you get to using the mustad ultra point you probably won't even think about gammy any more. You can get a pretty good deal through Shorty's hook sales if you buy 1000.
  22. Yes you can wax the engine and the cowling.

I find the mustad to be a lot better hook than the eagle claw.
