I'm petty sure a fall, head first could hurt the fish and if that's the case with yours then I suggest you get better at handling your bass, like Tom said, Respect the game. It shows good sportsmanship. SOrry I just had to put this out...... So, if fishes could talk you'd probably hear yours squealing out, "Whhhy meeeeeeeee" hahaha

Well in my opinion, Lowrance IS more user friendly. I purchased a Lowrance 7x back in 2017 and the only issue I had with it was with the GPS maps but that was no problem for me back then seeing how I fish mostly the same body of water and know where to travel when traveling at higher speeds. I suggest you spend the big bucks on what you LUHHH.

Have you tried calibrating your Ti2 screen and also make sure the fishing mode is set to shallow water, that should help it.
