  1. Am I the only one who does that?? I always kiss any quality fish I catch and say thank you...
  2. Thank you for all the great information! This really helps. I don’t plan on catching many more, so I think I will stick to grabbing them by the back of the head if I happen to catch another.
  3. Hello everyone I just caught my first ever pike (on accident) today, and I didn’t know what to do so I flipped him into the bank, where the line snapped. I was able to grab him by his gill plate, but does anyone have any ideas on how to land a pike without a net? Should I just grab him by the gill plate while he’s still in the water? It seems kinda hard...
  4. I may get some of these they look cool. Favorite color? Joe
  5. Sounds like a great cause. I have never used a bass pro reel over $40 but as far as I know bps reels aren’t great under 100 but after that price point I think they are good. That reel should be of high quality
  6. Idk if you can go this far down south but this guy is amazing you go in the Everglades for largemouth or somewhere else for peacock. I took half a day trip with 3 other not very experienced anglers and we caught over 150 bass. https://floridaevergladesbassfishingadventures.com/
  7. Here I am wishing I had one... Definitely get some nice top waters. Popper for when they’re eating small things, walking bait for big baitfish and a whopper plopped is what I think. I like the spinner bait idea too
  8. I just use the palomar knot and I have 17lb floro but it works for me
  9. At that point with such a small budget, most rods will be generally equal in terms of sensitivity, etc. it’s at or above that $100 mark where some start to stand out
  10. Just saying if u are going to get a Curado k just get the new Slx for similar price it’s better I think
  11. That Slx conbo is a steal for 130 nice job my guy
