All opinion . I go uni to uni… never had an issue. Best knot, no clue but has been 100% to me .Literally. Only break have gotten is at the hook when snagged and want to break off which obviously isn’t the knot at braid/flouro.

714 depends what weights you are throwing jigs.. Great all around rod. 715 is very versatile but rated to 1.5oz lures . The 714 is more of a Medium Heavy . I love my Kaden 713. Can’t help nor comment on Powell as all my Rods are Dobyns lol.

Anyone have a clue why TW only lists the standard model now.. they are no longer showing the Flip model or Finesse model as an option. Is production that far behind now .

Out on the yak .. grab my Champ 734xp and notice 2nd guide from is tip not there anymore lol. I’m a handy guy but no zero about replacing guides .. Hit up Dobyns and they got right back to me one was in the mail.. I have no rod repairs around here. I’m sure I can do it but any advice .. I’ve YouTubed it.. I’m just not happy it’s not going to look “stock” Anymore with me doing it. lol.

Samething every Spring.. Excited weather starts to warm than the winds fire up for 6 weeks or so. First outing other day on Yak. Watched weather and looked ok.. half the day was ok.. other half.. I'm not getting thru the Pearly Gates with my mouth. Can't wait til I get the Ai3 with spot lock

3 years on one reel.. would be more reels But have switched from 832 to Smackdown on the others .. the 832 I have on 1 reel hasn’t been reversed yet so I’m sure could get 3 to a million more years out of that reel lol.. although I just stripped Smackdown off a reel to spool it with Flouro so that 832 will be coming off getting replaced with the Smackdown just stripped.

I like kvd and treat the night prior. I am going to try this as well. Thanks as never heard of it before.

How is the Tangle free applied to have a even application since it’s a drip application?

Kvd is what I use.. have a bottle of reel magic that doesn’t get used anymore
