  1. Yes few of them were, as well as tax collectors, and physicians
  2. Fingers crossed that it works out and not go the other way lol
  3. lol, I wanna go out with a bang, what better way to do that then with a ten pounder in your hand. There are a few other ways I would like to go though.
  4. lol what would you do to survive?
  5. Not sure I could do it then lol. With school and a job, I will barely have time to fish! Thank you for the info
  6. Agreed, Flukes are the way to go. Love using them. Shakey heads are also another way to catch good ones out deep.
  7. My plan for this winter is to stay where it is warm and wait for the spring spawn.
  8. I was goin with what he took the idea as^^^ Sorry guys for being vague. Some interesting responses
  9. lol, I have my rod in hand and am ready to head to the wilderness. They would probably last me a day ?
  10. I was considering making baits for myself a few months ago to maybe cut costs and be able to pick out my own colors with what I think works best. Is it worth it? Also is it time consuming lol?
  11. My biggest this year is a 6 incher...?
  12. Welcome, I lost the password to my old account @Allaboutdabass and had to make a new one
  13. If the world was about to end and you could only pick up one rod and reel combo and one bait, what would be your go to? Personally I would grab a spinning set up with some finesse worms and drop shot til the end.
  14. Personally, I think bass go more by temp and what they are feeding on. I don't think they are worried about what day it is. I'm sure on those pressured lakes, its harder to catch them on Friday or Saturday due to the local fishing.
  15. I do but its in my fish finder, I can't get it to transfer to my laptop. The lake is near Brandon, Ms.
  16. I am in a pinch. I only have two days to figure out where these fish are. This October, I have a fishing tournament at Ross Barnett. I have a few offshore spots and areas that might be good shallow. I just don't want to waste a lot of time. I am struggling this year for my high school tournaments. Any info would help. Thanks.
  17. Finally below 90s here. So ready for some fall fling action
  18. Use natural colors and downsize your presentation. I love to pull out the finesse worm and rig it on a drop-shot. They just can't take the shaking sensation ?
  19. I was taught on a T-rig when I first learned how to cast a rod. I'm really thankful for the patience and confidence that I have from fishing with it since day one.
  20. For me when fishing creeks I always I caught fish where there is something that breaks the water current like stumps and rock piles. They like to stay in those "no current" zones to ambush whatever comes by. I also like to fish the hanging trees. I got on a pattern last time where I would specifically take a weightless 8inch lizard and I would throw it into the tree and slowly pull it out of the tree and let it slap the water. The bass were eating whatever fell on the water. They would even strike at leaves. This is what has worked for me in the past.
  21. She's a beaut ?
