Painting spoons?
Spray paint is great for the solid colors and it’s quick. Nail polish will work and it’s cheap but i have had mixed results with it. The clear nail polish with glitter in it is an easy way to add some nice flash onto a solid color.

Adding Sparkle to Side of Hard Bait ?
I cheat and use a nail polish that is clear but has glitter in it. Then I use a clear coat to seal it. I am just starting out so it’s probably not the best choice but it works.

Lure Identification
Bought an old tackle box with some decent stuff. Have one thing I can’t make heads or tails of, not sure if it was originally part of something else or is supposed to clamp on to something else. There were two Hofschneider red eye wiggler’s in the box, not sure if it’s that company or just similar.

Help on a Spinnerbait
I ordered a make your own Spinnerbait kit and I have made a few, while testing one at a local pond yesterday I lost the main blade off of it. The others I tested didn’t have an issue but I also didn’t put them In the brush as much. I am wondering if it was the way I closed the loop (even if it was as directed) or something else. Any advice would be helpful, Thanks in advance!

I have had a Nikon Coolpix for more than 6 years and have taken it snorkeling and dropped it on rocks while hiking. It might cost a little more but it takes good pictures and the ruggedness has been worth every penny for me.

Advice for catching Pickerel
I fish near Albany and though I don’t target pickerel I catch them often enough. Most I have caught on a jerk bait or in-line spinner. I have a knock off vibrax minnow that I am tempted to retire but they seem to like it even though it is beat up.

Paying it forward to Mother Nature
I always carry an extra bag for garbage I see but 2 hours dedicated just to that with the kids is extraordinary! It is vital to teach the kids these lessons.

Spoon Identification
Thank you. The one on the far left I am tempted to throw in the water and see what it does. The rest would have to be on a skunk day.

Spoon Identification
I recently bought two old tackle boxes and I am looking for some advice or at least identification on some of the lures. These spoons I’m assuming are for trolling but I have never seen anything like them before. How to fish them or at least names so I can further research would be great. Thanks in advance.
