  1. Thank you! Not sure how I missed that when I looked at the manual earlier. Just downloaded the Lowrance app and updated the unit from my phone.
  2. Hi there, Is there any way to update the Ghost trolling motor software version without it being paired to a Lowrance fish finder? I currently have a Garmin fish finder and do not have the trolling motor hooked to it at all.
  3. I just purchased the Garmin Echomap 9" model with the GT52 transducer. $599.00 on sale at Bass Pro. Normally $999. So far so good!
  4. I have a smaller bass boat and didn't want to spend a ton of money on the fish finder. I ended up with the Garmin Striker Plus 4 CV. Its a great deal for less the 200 bucks! I'm still learning about all of its capabilities but so far its been great.
  5. I was fishing on a deck boat with two others. The guy in the front got a strike and he set the hook way too aggressively for how close his bait was to the boat. Needless to say his 3/8 oz spinner bait came at my face at 100 mph. Smacked me right in the cheek! I'll never fish without glasses on after that.
  6. Does it have a 4 stroke engine or 2 stroke? That makes a big difference in price around my neck of the woods.
  7. Yeah I know, I didn't have a scale so it doesn't count. I know one thing, it was the biggest bass I've ever caught and it made my day.. Just glad I was able to get some pictures before releasing it. Thanks all for the good words.
  8. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
  9. Thanks! Carolina rig with a 4" Zoom fish doctor worm. Watermelon color.
  10. 5" wide. I'm going to get a scale and tape measure for my backpack today! I don't really think the pics do it justice. Felt a lot heavier than 4 pounds for sure! Thanks all!
  11. Caught my personal best large mouth from the bank at my local reservoir yesterday evening! Oh what a rush it was trying to land that thing on a smaller spinning rod. Of course I didn't have a scale or measuring device so I just used my foot (12") as a comparison for how long it was. i had a tough time gripping it with one hand to grab the picture real quick before putting it back in the lake and watching it swim off! I believe it was right about 20" long or so.. What do the bass resource experts think it weighed roughly?
  12. I have the same boat with a 60hp Merc and its top speed is 34 mph. It cruises comfortably at 28-30.
