Rod for curado e7
Just picked up a curado 200e7 off market place for a steal ! Probably going to throw 50 lb braid on it and use it for buzzbait toads and open water frogs. What rod do you guys use for those applications? Preferably under $150 and 7'3" is max length for my liking. Color match isn't that important but it is a plus. Thank you

Lure ID
Yep I believe you are right . Thank you, thats one place I didn't look.

Lure ID
My fishing buddy and I were wondering if anyone knows what buzzbait this is. Its feels like it is maybe 5/16 oz but not sure. I have been having really good luck with it and want to buy a back up. Thanks

Falcon expert
Would the falcon expert Headturner be a good light texas rig rod? I mainly pitch 3/16 - 3/8 oz soft plastic into light cover i was just wondering how this rod would do? Everything i see is they like the Headturner for moving single hook baits. I have the lowrider flippin stick which was a little too long for me to pitch and it was a little stout for my liking so i use it as my frog rod now. I love falcons so i was considering moving up to the expert line. Thank you!

Replacing guides
Hello everyone, On my last trip i some how managed to bust 2 of my guides completely off my dobyns sierra. I contacted them and they sent me replacement guides for free which was awesome. I figured i could do it myself but looking for any tricks or tips. It is the 3rd and 4th guide down from the tip . I personally dont know of anyone or any shops around me that could fix it being in western Indiana. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Tatula xt vs Tatula
Are the new tatula xt rods any good for 99.99 or are the tats with the cork handle a way better rod for $50 more? Ive owned the aird x and procyon and was presently surprised so I was thinking about trying a little higher end model. looking to get spinning and casting rods in either line

Dobyns vs powell
Looking for a new jig and worm rod. Does anyone have experience with either the dobyns kaden 714 or the powell endurance 7'2" Heavy? Very similar specs on both rods but i dont have any where local to get my hands on either one. Thank you

Any falcon fans out there
Hi everyone, im in the market for a new T rig, jig , and paddle tail rod and ive had my eye on the falcon lowrider. Not sure on which one to get though, im torn between the 7 foot MHF and the 7ft H. I know falcons run a little softer than most other brands so thats why im curious. My old rod was a MH 1/4 - 1oz and the MH lowrider is 1/4 - 3/4 and the H is 3/8 - 1oz. Mainly throw 3/16 - 3/8 t rigs, 3/8 jigs , and 1/4 swimbaits.

Falcon Rods- Heavy Action
I have the lowrider 6 10 heavy and i initially bought it for the same purpose but it has became my spinnerbait chatterbait rod. It had way more bend to it than what i expected when i ordered it . Love the rod though, cant go wrong with falcon

Powell power rating
Just personally to me it felt a little spongey on the hookset. Sorry i should have explained it better however it loads up amazingly on my moving baits, i love that rod for those applications

Powell power rating
I was just wondering on your guys opinion with the power rating on powell rods. Mainly want and jig / texas rig rod anywhere from 3/16 - 3/8 . Only asking because i ordered a falcon lowrider head turner 6'10" HF and it is a little too soft for my liking so it is my spinnerbait / chatterbait rod now. Just wondering if powell is similarly rated like falcon or dobyns. And any other rod recommendations are welcome thank you !!

$100 top water rod
Im looking to add a topwater/ jerkbait/ weights texas rig and fluke rod to completely round out my arsenal for this year. Have 100 bucks to spend and have my eye on a few but i was just seeing which rod would be most versatile or if there are any other opinions around the $100 mark. 1st rod is the ark lancer 6'10" M regular action 1/8 - 5/8 oz 2nd is the falcon bucoo 6'10" MH MF action 3/16 - 5/8 oz Also im debating on using 10-12 lb mono or 20-30 lb braid . Everyones input will be greatly appreciated thank you!

First jon boat
Thank you so much this helps out a bunch

First jon boat
Just picked up my first jon boat and i am full of questions for everyone. I bought a used lowe 14' big jon with a 25 hp johnson and i am wanting to build a casting deck maybe with some storage and mount a trolling motor up front. With that said around here the biggest body of water i would fish is 250 to maybe 300 acres and 9 times out of 10 ill have someone with me. Most lakes and ponds here are electric only so i was wondering what lb trust trolling motor would work best? 12v vs 24v ? If a 14 footer is stable and safe for 2 adults to stand and fish? Or any other tips , tricks , or mods that are out there. Like i said i am completely new to this so any advice is appreciated. Thank you !

Choosing between 3 different brands
Would a 3 or 4 power dobyns be better? I mainly throw 1/4 texas rigs and 1/4 -3/8 jigs nothing really heavier than that might also throw top water toads with it
-
Choosing between 3 different brands
Im looking to get a new rod or 2 once the black friday deals hit . Currently i am only going off of reviews online or guys i work with who bass fish since i dont have anywhere local to get my hand on these rods. The ones im considering are the ark lancer pro, falcon lowrider or dobyns sierra. I was just curious on if anyone has used these and what you have thought. Looking for the most well balanced, light weight and sensitive of the 3.

Adding to my arsenal
Im currently running 3 combos and ive been thinking about grabbing a few more to add to my arsenal. I mostly fish out of a kayak or jon so i would like to keep it under 5 or 6 totally combos just wondering what you guys would recommend Currently setups 1. Ark viper 7' MHXF / 13 inception for trigs, jigs, bottom contact 2. Diawa arid x 7'MHF / Lews lfs for moving baits, spinnerbaits , chatterbait, small swimbaits 3. H20 xpress premier 7' MF / 2000 size 13 fishing reel for finesse, top water , and crank baits.

You have a great point there !

H20 xpress premier rods
Has anyone tried out the H20 xpress premier rods? I checked one out at my local academy and the rod felt pretty nice for 30 bucks . Cork handle with a eva foam butt on a all black blank it looked pretty slick but looks can be deceiving i was just seeing if anyone out there has tried them out before i pull the trigger on them. Thanks
