  1. Im in the same boat, never caught a fish on it, but only fished it a few times
  2. that makes sense interesting okay thats good to know really? thats interesting, I will have to try this I do love a chartreuse spinnerbait never thought of using a grub as a trailer WOW I love this, I am going to copy this and put it in a binder, thankyou, this can be quite usefull
  3. Interesting, sometimes I think bass will just eat something in their face lol
  4. The only time I have fished these colors is when bed fishing because they stand out really nicely and make it easy to see whats going on. (also I like a black lure when fishing white sandy bottoms). But can I fish these lures through the summer? (Bubblegum or white senkos/trick worms?)
  5. okay this is very good to know, thankyou! okay I will try this
  6. okay, so do you think maybe a swimming worm would be better in clear water? or smaller baitfish fishery? that makes a good amount of sense, when I fish grassy lakes the boot-tail tends to get weeds wraped around it and I could see how a worm would slither through grass better, thankyou for pointing this out I never thought of that! That is a very interesting idea, I never thought of fishing it as a top water!
  7. ah okay this is very helpful, thankyou!!!! I did not know that the worms are faster! thankyou!
  8. Ah okay, well I guess im comparing a zoom uvibe speed worm compared to a keitech or rage swimmer rigged weedless
  9. Okay thanks Okay I kinda understand, I wonder if the speed worm would be better for fishing right on the bottom slower as well?
  10. Hi, so I fish my swimbaits on a belly weighted weed less hook, and I was wondering when I should choose a swimbait over a swimming worm. Both are weedless, so what is the difference?
  11. yeah I hear you, I did eat it and it tasted pretty good not ganna lie, was a flakey white fish kind of like cod or something, and fillets have no bones like trout do as well which was nice. felt a little bad but to be honest im sure one bass wont kill a population
  12. Yup I just fried it up tonight and it tasted good lol, I guess one bass wont hurt the fishery
  13. So I was fishing a drop shot in crystal clear water with ultra realistic shad looking baits with no wind and tight line. I had caught 5 fish and I gut-hooked one even though I had tight line and felt as soon as they sucked in the bait. I don't know if I imitated the baits too well, or If it is a post spawn thing where they are super hungry. As soon as i saw he was bleeding and tried to revive him but with no luck. I ended up filleting him because I did not want to waste his body Is there any preventatives to this? I was even using a fairly large 3/0 ewg hook too. I have had some fish bleed a little when I hook them on the top of the mouth but it stops very shortly and they are usually lively as ever anyways, but he was bleeding a lot sadly.
  14. What size treble hook replacement should I buy for my jackal ganterel jr swimbait. I am thinking about getting some owner st's but what size? 2/0 or 3/0?
  15. So I have a pfluger presidential xt and I noticed the reel was not bringing line in smoothly and was grinding. I reeled in for about 15 minutes and it slowly fixed itself but I dont know what happened. My one theory is this was my first time storing a rig on the pole, and maybe I had the line too tight holding onto the hook holder, maybe this messed up the gears? Also do you think this will be a permanent damage or did just reeling it untill it went back to normal fix everything? It is my new trout reel and have only had it for 3 months, any ideas on why this happened? It could also be maybe because it's been raining and super cold so the reel grease froze up, but I have two other pfluger and only the two with rigs tight on attached tightly effected the reels, does this cause permanent damage? Also could it be because I rinsed them off in water and they dont like water? I only did a light mist cuz they needed it but maybe it's the water because I sprayed water on the two as well
