Has anyone tried the Huddle-Bug?
I have not tried them yet but have four packs of them. They really look good though. I got mine this past fall before the prices went up. I had no idea they went up that much. I think I paid $6.00 - $7.00 a pack for mine, 1 orange, 1 green, and two brown with purple. The green color is not real green but more of a green pumpkin color. One thing I can tell you is they don't appear to be very durable, the finish (painted rubber) has already rubbed off a little on spots and they are not even out of the plastic yet. > They also look like they would get hung up easily from the way they are rigged with the weights on the belly. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Whoooooo Hoooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) :-)
Hey Chris, This may be a little off the subject, but what kind of camera are you using to take these awesome pics? I'm in the market for a new digital camera. I had a Canon A 70 3.2 mega pixel until it messed up during a trip to South Dakota this past summer. It will cost more to fix it than the camera is worth now. Just curious as to the brand and mega pixel count. Thank You, Blaine

You Sir Are The Man!!! :o I 'm a loss for words......what do you say. I hope you read this. Your picture taking ability is second to none that I've seen on this board. Those are without a doubt the most unique colored smallmouth I have ever seen, don't even get me started on how big they are. My God man.....do you walk on water too? ;D ;D ;D Highest Congrats!!!

Whats a good drop shot set up??
I use the same.
-
Braid?
I have used it in the past. I had a few breakoffs setting the hook and at the boat. > These fish were not that big(2-3lbs). No, before you ask it wasn't the hook tie, they broke above the hook. ;D I think it is fine when you first use it, but after it gets wet a few times it seems like it dry- rots or something. I switched to Power Pro and have not had this to happen again.

Whats a good drop shot set up??
I just purchased a Kistler Mg 6'9" M/L Dropshot Spinning I think I'm going to be pretty happy with. I use Shimano spinning reels, not for any particular reason, I've just had good luck with them. All of my baitcasters are Daiwa, so I'm not brand loyal or brand specific. ;D There are alot of other good dropshot rods out there, Loomis, Daiwa, even Cabelas and Bass Pro have their own brand. Get you something you are comfortable with holding all day and something within your budget. I hope this helps.

Braid?
One thing I did notice between the two, the Power Pro is kind of flat or oval shaped whie the Suffix is round. This gives the appearence that the Suffix might be thinner. Does that make sense? :-?

Braid?
I have been a die hard Power Pro fan. I tried the Suffix this year on some of my baitcasters because everyone suggested how great it was. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed so far with it. The only thing I could see different, the Suffix seems a little more noisier going through the guides, but on the other hand, it does seem like it may outlast the Power Pro as far as durability. I will still be fishing with both all year and see what kind of other advantages one has over the other. 8-)

best bait for spawn

- My new Ito Engineering reel.
Got one exactly like it Redline, I'm mounting mine on a Kistler LTX He2 7' MH when it comes in this week. I had one to come in last week but it was broke in half when I got it. I had to send it back. You will love this reel!!! ;D ;D ;D- steeze
That depends on who you talk to. ;D IMHO I think it is....besides, you always get what you pay for. Ask Redlinerobert, he will give ya the scoop on the Steez outfit. It is the lightest baitcaster I have ever held in my hand. The whole rod and reel combo comes in at under 9 oz. If you want a bass outfit that weighs as much as an ultralight trout rod, than this is for you. ;D- Pretty Good Trip at Local Backwaters
Congratulations there fellow Mountaineer!!! I heading out tomorrow for Stonewall Jackson after work,(Fifteen minutes away), It will be the first time out with the boat this year. ;D ;D ;D- My 7yr old's First bass.
That right there is what it's all about........Tell him good job. My first bass wasn't nearly that big but I still remember every detail about it.- Chris at Tech's 9lb personal best at Varner
Nice fish man, I'm waiting on that double digit PB myself......Congratulations!!!!! ;D ;D ;D- Absolutely CRUSHED my old PB!
Cograts on your new personal best, beautiful fish!!!! :o- Go-To Bait for Early Spring Bass
Hello All, Just wondering what is everyone's go-to bait for the early spring? Mine would be a jig and pig or jig with trailer. Thanks, Blaine- Bassmaster Magazine
Cover to cover, including all the ads. ;D- Hey Y'all
- Fish attractant
I'm with justfishin on this one, can't stand the mess. From what you guys are saying it sounds like I'm missing out on a few fish by not using it. Who knows, maybe I'll give it a try again this year.- lake fork swimbaits.
I think these baits would be alot easier to fish rigged with a 4/0 or 5/0 EWG hook. I have the same thing but different brand name(Japanese Model). These are about a third of the price for a pack of four than the Japanese model. I was glad to see these offered by a U.S. dealer, alot easier on the wallet.- New to the forum
