Just ordered one. I had a gift card for $65.00 left over from Christmas and the Cabela's bucks for $20.00 I was able to get it for $114.00. Now that is a deal! This is a $350.00 reel. These things are selling on Ebay right now used with scratches for $200 - $250. Get em while you can people!!

I received one of my rods today by way of UPS and all was fine. I still have to receive the other, just thought I would give an update on the situation.

1. Become better at fishing deep. (Dropshot) 2. Rely more on crankbaits and less on spinnerbaits. 3. Try out and gain confidence in a bait I have never had success on. (Lipless crank) 4. Fish with my Dad more this year, he is the one responsible for my love of this great sport. Thanks Dad.

This is the only line that may change me from using Power Pro. I have been using both lately, and I have to tell ya, the Sufix is really as good as everyone on here says it is. Good stuff, I highly recommend it.

They are probably using some kind of high grade lubricant like Friction Zero or Rocket Fuel (EXPENSIVE). I bet you Reelmech could tell you what to use. I would trust his judgement on this application.

I hope for your sake that rod doesn't snap in half like all the others I have seen here lately. I guess only then you will find out how well Megabass stands behind their warranty. Keep your fingers crossed..........cool setup though.
