You could remove the original bearings and measure them, then goto Boca and search their products for replacements. Another way to get the best out of what you have in the reel now, would be to remove the bearings clean them really well, and re-lube with a quality oil. Tight Lines!!!

wickyman, Is this a Maxxar 3 spinning reel? What it has is what you get. 3 BB's at the most, one on each side of the body and maybe one for the rotor pinion gear. No way to increase bearing counts. Tight Lines!!!

airborne_angler, What is the model and the number of the Shimano® you have? If it isn't one of the older discontinued models that is broken, you wouldn't believe what can be done to make it sing today. If it is an older discontinued reel, then may I suggest a Daiwa® maybe a 6+1 Procaster. Let us know what you decide.. Tight Lines All!!!
