  2. It's not a retaining clip to hold it in plac. Looks much different. I took it apart once and didn't take a pic. Shame on me lol. I'll take it apart now lol and post pics. Thank you
  3. I'm wondering how I remove the bearing? It looks like it's behind a little star when I remove the plate.
  4. This is info I was looking for. I greatly appreciate your help. What heat stabilizer and where from? Where to get plastisol, color, and flake? I greatly appreciate your help!
  5. as far as the items I need I knew that, I was just looking there’s different molds and injectors out there I was just kind of looking what are the good molds versus the cheap quality and which ones to avoid. and no I’m not trying to make a business out of it I’ve been wanting to do it for years melt all my old plastics and reuse them I can make different kinds of colors I can’t buy in the store different molds that you can’t buy in the store for soft plastics it all just seems fun.And then I get to go fish the baits that I make
  6. Hey everyone, I've been bass fishing for years and always wanted to make soft plastics. (I know not much about-only what world's worst fishing/marling baits does on YouTube) I'm looking an injector, finesse worm , creature mold recommendations. I fish mainly soft plastics in ponds/lakes. I have LOTS of used/unused plastics I can remelt, what's the best practice to do this? I'm itching to start and thought I'd ask more experienced bait makers! Thanks for any help!
  7. I have no clue, I've never owned Shimano casting reel. They sure do!! Awesome find thank you!! TT had them, but Daiwa is backordered lol. Thanks!!
  8. Oh wow really? The lady said 7-10 days to ship. I called back to ask a question and a guy said 2.5 weeks out. I'll let you know. That is really awesome of you!!! I greatly appreciate your generosity!!
  9. There's a washer that sits on top of those concave washers below the nut that holds the spring. That's washer I ordered
  10. Hey everyone I’m looking to see where I can find drag star spring. I called to order one from Daiwa but it’s on back order. Where can I get one? Anyone have an extra they'd be willing to sell? Thanks
  11. I called Daiwa and ordered the star drag, spring, and nut.... Washer is in back order!! You think if I make a post anyone will have one they'd want to sell? Oh, it was 13 bucks with shipping but bad at all
  12. Awesome yeah I can understand calling and it being a pain. That's what's I did when I owned Abu reels. I appreciate you giving the tip with the washer. I actually found a guy in eBay and I have one on the way. I was thinking of doing that already to see if it improved the drag pressure! Thanks for the tip and the schematic!!
  13. It doesn't say anything on it, I actually just got it today. Seems similar, best bet would be to contact Daiwa for those parts I bet right?
  14. I'd be happy with just the cheap ones off the new Tatula SV
  15. That's looks great! I need that lol Oh I can use either?? Does TT sell all the parts for the spring loaded? What should I search? Thank you
  16. I'm looking to see where I can get a larger drag star for my SS SV? Which other Daiwa models have the larger screw on drag star I can possibly order for it? Thank you
  17. I have my spool tension just to minimize side to side play and brake dial depends on what I'm throwing. I can cast a weightless trick worm with a 3/0 hook a alright distance. Bass pro shops makes a flick n shimmy worm that weighs more and can launch. I haven't got the zillion spool yet as the weather's starting to change. I'll most likely get it in the spring.
  18. Ok perfect these are the ones you've used in the past? What if the rods are 7' should I cut It down to like 7 1/2 feet long?
  19. Hey everyone, I was curious as to the most cost effective and easiest way to package a rod to sell? I'd be doing it to make some cash for more fishing stuff lol. Thank you Wasn't sure is this was ok to post here or not
  20. I appreciate all the info and responses. Looks like Neko hooks are the winner. I'm going to give them a try! Thanks again!
  21. Maybe Neko hooks for the win! Thanks everyone for all the help
  22. Hey, I didn't get around to getting scent. But I got out for a bit today same pond and wacky hooked the trick worm and got 3. I'll try this the next few outings and see what happens.
  23. Awesome thank you everyone for the replies! What size would you use for all around worms I've mentioned?
  24. Is there lots of room with the #2 octopus hooks and a Senko? I also use trick worms and s don't want huge hooks.
  25. What worms do you wacky rig? What size vmc hooks do you use?
