I have a Daiwa SS SV and was wondering if only 1 worm gear bearing is what it's supposed to have? Any help is appreciated. I'm asking because I just installed 2 worm gear bearings in my Zillion SV and thought I'd take a peek in my SS SV and only saw one.

What hooks does everyone use? Are these trailers? Used for panfish? Just was interested as these seem really small. Thought about picking them up.

Perfect thank you. That's exactly what I did, used a baby food jar and 100% acetone twice followed by 70% isopropyl alcohol. I was surprised by all the little floaties!

You clean all bearings including the anti-reverse bearings?

These shields come off?? How? I can't find a retainer to pop off. How to flush them?

Are these bearings any better then say the Tatula line? These have dark grey shields rather than silver. Are these better bearings or just different?

I'm at the end of a full week warm up and going tomorrow afternoon for a few hours. I'm hoping I can locate and find what they want!!

Nice! I just got a Zillion SV and bought a spare Zillion SV spool for my SS SV. I'm looking to throw weightless finesse worms and other light plastics with the SS SV and heavier weighted and senko with the Zillion.

What do you use to pop off the little retainer clip that holds the clip in? Last time I tried I couldn't seem to get it off.

I've bought and returned the new Tatula SV. Wasn't happy with it's casting distance. I also had a Tatula elite and it was awesome, minus the grinding noise when reeling in. It was the spool somehow. I swapped with my tatula CT and the noise went to the CT when reeling in. The zillion will be for the 1/8oz weighted plastics, paddle tail swimbait and senko the "heavier" plastics

Ok thanks for the tips I appreciate it. I was more along the lines of what others were have success on. But yes I guess I was needing to locate the fish. Today went from 2-330 and didn't see ass much as a bait fish. I was throwing a weighted 3.8 inch paddle tail swimbait and zoom finesse worm. I fish retention ponds and worked shore lines with weeds and out in the middle and all around. Just looking to hook up on a few. Thanks again.

I didn't make out lol. I Must have been throwing the wrong lures. I'm headed back out Sunday so maybe I'll try a spinner bait.

I have no luck in early spring or late fall every year!!! I'm looking to change that!!!

Going fishing tomorrow and it's been cooler and rainy 30s at night up to 50s during day. This week is starting yesterday it's been in upper 60s. What should I try to throw or just bring everything?? I'm looking for a second reel for throwing all plastics along with my SS SV. Things from zoom finesse/trick worms, creature baits, up to 5 inch paddle tail swim baits on 1/8oz weighted twistlock hook. I use generally 2/0-50 EGW hooks and 1/16oz and 1/8oz bullet weights. These two setups will be 95% plastics. Possibly lighter spinner baits but not very often at all. I was looking at the I'd like to spend around $200-$225. I was looking at the Tatula Elite and Zillion SV. Thank you

I'm looking for a carbon fiber handle 90-95mm about that fits Daiwa stock I knobs and isn't 60+ dollars. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
