I just replaced the original inductor with one I got from Tackle Trap, I didn't replace the spring though. I haven't taken it out, I will this week to see how it casts.

Was looking into that one, I went with the new Tatula CT with the blue accents 8.1:1

Can I use the 6.3 pinion gear or will that not work with the upgraded drive gear and stacked washers?

Ok thank you. That's the Carbontex that I purchased. It comes with 3 washes, two look the same one different. All are smaller and thinner than the stock drag washer. Do I use more than one? Does the 8:1 conversion kit change the reel ratio to 8.1?

I'll check it out. This is my plastics reel. Just was looking to increase drag when those bass dig into the weeds lol. It's the Amo spool good for weighted/unweighted soft plastics? It looks more like a BFS spool? I appreciate all your responses.

I do fish from shore. Long cast are up there yes, no it doesn't necessarily have to be though I own all Daiwa reels lol.

As for handles for Daiwa, what size are where there knobs attach? If I want a carbon handle that isn't 80 +dollars I want the knobs that came with the alphas CT to fit on the carbon handle. Sorry if I sound like a complete novice lol. Thanks for any info
