  5. RW For me it's usually just one rod and one hard lure, or a couple of soft plastics and a jig. I like to practice using all my rod & reel combinations which dictates what I fish. I actually never thought about a vest ... That one had lots of pockets, I wonder if I can find one a little lower priced though? :-/

  12. Nice fish CJ. My brother and his son fish Ky. lake quite often and do pretty good their too. How is the lake look as far as water temp. and level?

  18. I've done best on a lipless in early spring, and throw them over weedy flats, most of the time I burn them because the lakes I fish are too weedy to yank em off the bottom.The one I've done best on is the Rattlin Rapala in a red/chart., or fire craw color. Crankbaits I fish all year.

  20. Thanks guys, it doesn't compare to that monster Paul caught and posted pics of ;D, but I was still tickled to catch and release her.
  21. Great looking bass Paul, and a very good story to go with it.
  22. We caught 10 keepers, over 14", inc. a 20" 4lb. and a 21" 5lb. yesterday at a local water shed in southern Indiana. Most fish were caught on a Bomber model 6a and 7a redfire crawdad. I'll try to post a pic, but, I'm not real sure how.
  23. Hello fellow Hoosiers, I'm from the south, clark county. I'm sure you guys are just as happy as I am about the weather getting ready to break, its suppose to get close to 80 tomorrow ! My fav. lakes are : John Hay lake Hoosier national forest lakes any farm pond I can find to fish Good luck guys
