Tracker Super Guide V16, thoughts?
Found out some more info, only has a 25 horse merc on it, but comes with a custom cover and a few other extras. Never even been off the trailer. Full warranty etc and 6k under what they currently sell for at BPS or other tracker dealers. I was hoping for a slightly larger motor, like a 40, but its not terrible. Im in no rush when on the water and just like to enjoy my time while (hopefully) catching some fish.

Tracker Super Guide V16, thoughts?
Thanks, think you’re right. At the very least I could flip it. It’s through some friend channels which is the only reason it’s so cheap. They would rather sell it private to someone they know than deal with the dealer or Craigslist’s route

Tracker Super Guide V16, thoughts?
Have the chance to pick up a leftover Tracker Super Guide V16 SC for extremely cheap, the boat is a 2020 that’s never even touched water. Any comments on these? I’ve looked around and most info is all from dealers and sellers online. I realize it’s a pretty basic boat and in the bottom of the price category for its size, but I’m a weekend warrior that hopefully makes it out to the lake a few times a month. Currently have an old 11 foot V with a 3.3 so this would be a massive upgrade. I don’t make it far from the launch currently and I’m hoping to add some comfort to my fishing day and allow me to go further if needed. It comes with a trolling motor up front and a basic graph I believe. Thanks for any thoughts guys

Recommendations for stable kayaks?
Take a look at Old Town kayaks. I demoed one of their sportsman 120’s and it was extremely stable and I be was able to stand up pretty easy, even with it being my first time in a fishing kayak. I’m gunna go with the 12 foot pedal version when they are back in stock at my dealer but they have a 10’5 and 13 foot versions

A popular bass rod power/type that you personally don't find a use for?
ML setup just seems too soft for me, but the lakes I fish (and only from the bank currently) is all vegetation and I need some backbone. Getting a kayak so that may change when I can get out to some new waters

Kayak: Fish Finder Sideview (7in vs. 9in)
That is literally exactly what my plan was. Going to go with a Garmin Vivid 9sv and probably a ram mount. Which were you looking at that came with a touch screen? I know the 9SV isnt and thats actually a pro in my mind as my fingers are usually a mess while I go fishing and not having to touch the screen seems better in my eyes but not positive. Im a green horn, only ever been on the bank fishing

Kayak: Fish Finder Sideview (7in vs. 9in)
You're in my exact same shoes, getting a 120 PDL here in the coming months and looking to rig it. Everyone I have spoke to said that bigger is always better. The $100 difference that usually comes with going from 7 to 9" is always worth it. What brand are you thinking of? I see alot of garmin reviews, Raymarine seem nice but more expensive. Not sure what else

New years resolution thread
No resolution, more like a goal. I only caught 34 keepers this year. I want to have at least 100 this year

Using lefty and right baitcasters.
I always felt most comfy with the rod in my right hand, seeing as I'm right handed. I got my first BC this year after fishing the last 10 years with spinning gear, so it just felt natural to keep reeling with my left hand and keep the important stuff in my right hand. I spent an hour at the tackle shop switching back and forth between left and right BC’s and the right just felt wrong every time I picked it up

Lake Champlain
I spend a week up in Ticonderoga on lake George every year and spend a day or two over at Champlain launching from the ferry. Never had a bad day of fishing that part of the lake, I never go very far to start hitting them
