I do own a few Dobyn's Fury Rods in both MH and H and have no issues with either throwing spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. ?‍♂️

I don't have three, but I can tell you from my experience, Seaguar Red Label has never failed me, but Vanish is straight trash.

I agree with you on the shaky head. I don't drop shot very much, but have caught them on it enough to at least become a believer.

I have no luck or confidence with a ned rig...I've tried it, but apparently I'm doing it wrong. lol. Plus it's no fun trying to fish it in Florida.

I emailed Dobyn's about it and they responded almost immediately. Apparently I was just being too gentle with the lock nut. They told me to make sure I wiggle the reel all the way down as far as I could before tightening the lock nut. After making sure everything is lined up, crank the lock nut down and it helps. Hopefully it fixes it. Makes me nervous that my reel is going to fall out when I have a fish on.

I just bought one and I've noticed the same issue with my shimano sahara reel. I'm going to try switching to one of my other ones to see if it has a better fit. A little disappointed to say the least...
