  1. I second talking with Willie at Nixon’s Marine
  2. I have the same motor on a G3 Pro 175 bass boat and have experienced the same issue intermittently. Where I’m located, I have to run gas with ethanol. Installing a new fuel/water separator seems to resolve the issue. I’m still running the original fuel pump, fuel lines and bulb.
  3. I was about 30 miles up river in Hood River that day and the wind was whipping up white caps.

  5. It’s not that I am adverse to the cost of the re-arming kit, it’s the engineer in me that wants to know why it needs to be done. I’m starting to think that it is the white material in the yellow disc that starts to degrade from humidity and could cause a premature inflation?
  6. I have an auto inflate Onyx pfd that I got from BPS. I’ve heard you should replace the wafer and CO2 cartridge annually. If the CO2 indicator on the mechanism is still green (indicating sufficient pressure) and the wafer hasn’t caused the unit to inflate, what is the reason to routinely replacing these parts?
  7. Ned rig with a TRD
  8. +1 on the SE hydrofoil. I have a G3 Pro 175 with a Yamaha 60 hp four stroke. The hydrofoil did everything it advertised. Quicker getting on plane and higher top speed for less than changing props.
  9. Nixon’s generally has the best selection and expertise.
