I havent bought a rod for this technique yet, looking for input from others on a fast action or something slower.

Still can't seem to find the ideal wtd rod for some reason

my budget is around 250 or more, I prefer higher end gear

Whats the difference if there is any?

does monofilament affect the action of a jerkbait because of the stretch? also I know invisx is stretchier then sunline sniper so Im trying to decide which line to choose from

7'0 feet or less, Medium casting, moderate fast to fast action, and handles 1/2 ounce or less?

Not sure how others feel but with COVID, fishing is getting even more pressure then it already has. Ever since this pandemic it kinda makes me mad now seeing a ton of new people crowding areas you rarely used to see people. Not to mention all these new "anglers" are taking undersized fish and are weighing them when it doesn't even look over 2 lb and calling every bass they catch a "nice" fish. Fish brain is a great example of people weighing 2 lb basses and incriminating themselves illegally taking fish home.

Any recommendation on an accurate scale? I'll take accuracy over durabilty if that matters.

Haha I guess I should of reworded it better but I meant where do you know where the parking lot is at when you go to a new body of water. Also seems like some lakes/pond don't even have lots and you have to park offroad.

How do you guys know where to park your cars when you travel to a new body of water? Not sure if it's just me but google maps take you to the middle of other peoples streets or a public road near the lake.

Hey everybody, I've never fished for smallmouth in lakes/ponds before and living in NH now, I know there are a few lakes around me with smallmouth. Any tip on how to catch them from a kayak? Do I fish for them exactly like I would for a Largemouth? I know they tend to be in deep water but I don't have a fish finder. Appreciate any advice.

Any thoughts on these guys? I'm especially curious on what the older folks thinks of these guys and their products. Seems like even lakeforkguy does less fishing in his videos now and more just vlogging.
