Braid floats, flouro sinks. How abouot braid to flouro leader?

Slack line braid floats on the surface, FC sinks slowly and if lure sinks it pulls the floating braid down.

Depends on the braid.  Suffix 832 with gortex is supposed to slowly sink.  It'll sit on the top of the water due to surface tension if there isn't anything to pull it down though.  But once under water, it doesn't float back up.  

No braid is buoyant as to float a bait off the bottom. Straight fluoro will sink a hair faster. 

Unless your bait is heavy enough, your floro leader won’t have enough weight itself to pull the braid down. Unless it’s more leader in the water than main line braid. Or you get a braid that says it sinks.

I'll agree with that. I have 20 lb Sufix 832 on my finesse spinning reel with 6 lb YZH leader. With a 5" Senko WR, the vast majority of the braid is on the surface, not sinking below it. 

Never tried to cast just the leader... Not sure but I would assume it would sink the braid eventually.
