Heres a thought. Make the welfare recipient pay for the drug testing. Hell its free money to them anyhow. Make it a condition that all who apply would be screened, and hell that would stop many from just applying, and those who really NEED the money wouldnt be doing the drugs anyhow because they couldnt afford them. Im all for helping someone get up on their feet, but if they have money for drugs they dont NEED my tax dollars. GR I agree with you 100%, and you can use the rope over and over!!

If that is the case we need to regulate toilet bowl cleaner , aluminum foil, several types of acids, and a wide range of powders and chemicals. They are all as easier to get than an sks, and alot cheaper with far larger fallout..... I see your point dominion dan certainly, but someone intent on doing harm will find a way.

Thank you I appreciate that! I guess the reason I posted is to let anyone else who has PTSD know you are NOT, echo NOT alone. It is a real problem, and has some significant effects! At times it has dictated when I would leave the house, where I would sit in a diner, How I would interact to people, especially loud and disorderly ones. Imagine having something as simple as garbage day cause you to not want to venture out because of all the stuff on the roadside. It may seem silly, but to me it was horrifying. Then there is the depression that comes along with realizing what humans are capable of doing to one another, leaving you depressed, and feeling very much like there is noone and nothing you can trust. The amazing thing is that you learn to aclimate your life to this, and see life as you live it normal. If any of you deals with this, to whatever degree, please feel free to drop me a line. I have a long way to go to be sure, but, The first step for me was finding a kindred spirit who had been there (thanks dad). I have to say, I thought this forum great until I started reading here. It isnt great it is FAR better. we band of brothers......

An interesting post to say the least. The 3 things considered in an "assault" rifle are: 1. Velocity 2. Rate of fire 3. Capacity Not neccisarily in that order. The Idea behind the assault rifle is a basic infantry concept, cover and move. Part of a unit uses the rate of fire to keep the enemy down, as the other portion of the unit advances (assaults). As for hunting, the 7.62 round is basically a .308 and a very capable round. I dont see much difference between using a remington semi, or using a sks, except for the magazine capacity. Now in practicality, the man who takes an sks with a full 30 out for a day of deer hunting is probably not to swift.....how many times you ever gonna get 30 shots at a freekin deer anyhow? Hes just carrying more weight. The bottom line is the same with any weapon, the person behind the trigger. their intentions and uses of the firearm. If some guy who only deer hunts twice a year wants to haul a sks around...more power to him. The only real issues with mag capacity, are the issues of those who would misuse the weapon, say for criminal intent. but we all know criminals will always find a way to have what they are not supposed to have regardless of regulation.

if anyone believes its the cost of refining, importing, etc etc......then look at what Israel (sp) has been paying for the last 7-10 years. The problem lies within our own borders, and our govs unwillingness to regulate the prices.

The quota isnt per boat, its overall. they set an ammount of pounds of crab, then turn the boats loose. the boats report back their estimated catch, and from there they estimate when the season wil be closed. So it is still the best man gets the lions share of the quota, but I agree would be much better without it.... Sig is the man.

Is there any markings to indicate choke? also what is the barrel length? I would like to say this for you. I am glad you have the concern to find this stuff out BEFORE the hunt, rather than just go out blasing away as many do. If you can get me the above info I maybe able to give you an idea of what to expect. Recon

the top setting is your high limit, the lower is your constant temp adjustment. the lower is the one you want to adjust to raise your water temp, the upper is just a "failsafe" incase the lower goes out, it will cut off the element incase of an overheat condition. there should also be a pressure release or "pop off" valve on the unit. if you havent messed with the top dont, if you have, put it back to where it was. adjust the bottom in small incriments. hope this helped. The first thig I would do is check the part descriptions of both motors. You may find they are the same, and the difference in thrust is by electrical design, rather than sheer motor size. It shouldnt be all that hard to change, as there are only 3 leads going the motor, but the amp draws and other characteristics maybe alot different.
