  2. I'm a year late but yes it can be but google earth is your best friend.
  3. Hey man I'm definitely late to this thread but if you ever want to hit some ponds around Orlando I'm down.
  4. Problem is you have to weed out all the ponds with stunted populations of bass. There's tons of ponds with stunted populations so what I usually do is try to find the older 20+ year old ponds using google earths time travel feature so you can see how long a pond has been there and when housing and stuff developed around it.
  5. Hey man I live right by Conway and would love to fish with you sometime. I'm normally fishing from shore pond hopping around Orlando.
  6. I can attest to the Curado line being a great series of reels. I've put well over 300 bass in addition to gators, redfish, snook, speckled trout, and even a small tarpon one time through my Curado DC. I've cleaned the internals after every saltwater use and I also oiled it every now and then with just freshwater use and it's still smooth as butter after 2 years.

  8. I mean Floridas unofficial record is 20.13lbs, I understand how big fish in places like Cali can exist because of the food sources they have(trout) but i dont know if places like Georgia have the capacity to support such large fish but it could've just been a freak of nature bass.
  9. I think you're confused on the purpose of this reel. It's intended to be a high quality reel for guys like me who live in Florida and pond hop and fish inshore saltwater but don't have all the money to buy a tranx and Curado dc for each purpose, it's able to be used in both but provide the performance of the MGL.
  10. Personally I like a popper near submerged or just any vegetation in general especially when it's cloudy in the early afternoon or near sunset.
  11. Over towards that left side of the map there looks to be some good coves and stuff over there you have yet to fish. Those outta be good when the wind is coming in a way that those shorelines protect you from the wind.
