Fiberglass.

How would I go about making this look brand new? It has a bunch of deep scratches and I want to make it look new with a fresh paint job. I tried sanding it than painting it but that didn't work. I was thinking just fill all the cracks with fiberglass or something and than painting over it. What would you guys suggest?

I was thinking for the pond I fish I could make a floating dock that I can put a chair on and tie a rope to the bank. Than I would use some oars and paddle the dock out to the middle to fish. I would use a flotation device but I don't want to take the chance of popping it while I'm on the water. So does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? Preferably cheap because its not my pond. Also something light so I can carry it from the truck to the pond. Styrofoam was my first idea but it's a little too expensive. I was thinking of 50 gallon drums and use them like a pontoon. Well I do real fast enough for it to stay out of the algae, I just don't get bites. I think I need something that makes more vibration than a spinnerbait. They just don't seem to bite on them. I've tried, white, red, purple, and black spinners. All of them have been the mini sized spinnerbaits most of them have been the long skinny blades. Some though have been Colorado blades. I just don't think the fish like them.

Well I don't get hung up or anything, there is green algae on the bottem and some limbs that has fallen off trees all over the place. There is a overflow in the far north east corner. However its not necessarily difficult to fish with the spinnerbait if you know what your doing. I however have no clue how to use a spinnerbait, I read a few articles on spinnerbait but nothing really helped. They didn't go in detail enough such as how you do the retrieve. They just helicoptering or slow roll etc....

The ponds I fish are pretty difficult to fish with a spinnerbait. What is the best way to use these from your experience?

How exactly can those pro fisherman make pin point casts? I can when I'm casting in front of me but when I want to cast down the shore line its pretty hard to do so. Now I've heard all sorts of different ways to retrieve your line and I have no clue what most of these techniques mean. Like Flippin and Pitchin, Slow Roll, and etc... If you guys explain that to me it would be very helpful, oh and tell me about all the other techniques that you know of. Lastly, I have no clue what a "Rig" is such as Carolina Rig, Texas rig, and etc... Well how do I do these so called "rigs"

I've been working on painting some old crankbaits, I have completely painted one of them white. I'm planning on painting it some other color though I would love to have some sort of UV-glow in the dark paint. Anyone know of a place I can get some UV paint?

Well I'm obsessed with fishing as well, I have a good social life but I don't make good grades. Matter of fact I dropped out of highschool. I was sent to YDC when I was 14 and it cost me to stay back 2 years of my highschool. So I dropped out and I'm now waiting my 6 months, to get in CPCC (a community college) to get my Adult Highschool Education Diploma. No its not the same things as a GED it is a Charlotte Mecklenburg Highschool Diploma. From there, I will go to College in Computer Technology, Bio Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Right now I have no job and waiting for my 18 birthday so I can go get a job laying Carpet. That is my trade of skills next to Computers. I have built 23 computers for various people I have also been doing Case mods for computer cases. www.mnpctech.com Reason I tell my short life story to you is my obsession when I was 14 was hanging out with my "cool" friends smoking pot, selling firearms that we would steal from others. Look where my obsession landed me, in YDC. So what the one guy said about a "Social Life" may not always be a good thing. Just make sure you find a good bunch of people. As far as letting your obsession interfere with school work. I say who cares. You can mess up while your in highschool. Just get a GED/AHED most colleges will accept both of those. Most jobs accept College degrees. Conclusion have fun doing what you want while you can and if it messes up your school don't sweat it too much just do like I said. I mean be serious are parents going to be ticked off that you were out fishing? You could be doing a lot worse like smoking meth out of a light bulb. My suggestion though would be, fish but don't let it interfere with school. Friends well they can always be replaced later on in life so don't get too attached to them. By all means associate with people though, or you will just be the guy that talks to nobody and everyone picks on. P.S I just recently stopped smoking Pot because I have found something else that entertains me more than a relaxation "high"...FISHING!!! Plus after you smoke a bag you have nothing to show for it besides dead brain cells. Atleast if you spend it on fishing you can show off your new rod and reel to your buddy's. Though I do hit a "j" every now and again just I don't buy it anymore.

WELL if it gets hot year around I'll be glad to fish everyday!

Will be fishing the Catawba River tomorrow in NC was wandering if tomorrow will be a good day to catch some fish. It's suppost to be High 60 low 40 degrees. We will be night fishing for me most part so I don't wannna go and there not be any good fishing.

oh I'm not to worried about that, this place is very secluded. and if I don't put some in the other pond all the monsters will die. Not one time have we went out there and cought anything other than huge bass. They need something to feed on. As far as the catfish goes it was just me boggling on. I really do need to put something in both of these ponds for them to feed on. They are running out of small fish I believe. P.S they are private ponds.

Bass pro is about 25 mins from here. Think local bait shops will have them?

Well after I Mr.Miagi'd that brim the other day I wouldn't think noodling would be all that bad. 4 foot of water, big catfish, gloves, and a few brews. That could lead to the "perfect" day.

well I bought a Rebel Pop-R from Walmart and it caught 1 bass so I think I'll give it a few more times and if it don't do anything else for me I'll get a new one.

I'll stick to a pop-r. They are Bass Catchers!

I was thinking of putting some catfish in these ponds by my house do you guys think they could survive? Also there is an abundant amount of Bass in 1 of the ponds how can I keep them alive and not die? I was told that minnows will die if its not running water like in a river. If I can keep them up of course I want to make'em fat so give me some ideas. Minnows would be easy I have a creak over here with LOTS, of creek Shad.

Hey you gave me a great idea I'm going to take a picture of the ponds I've been fishing. 1 of them is extremely huge and has lots of fish and the other has few fish but freakin MONSTERS!!! I think they need some more fish or they are going to die do to no food. I'm going to start fishing the river when I get my car back...One of the ponds I fish is about 50yards wide and around 200 long. The other is about 100by50 yards...Oh and the Monster pond has a Peacock.

I never really thought fish had noses. Dad said he is gonna use chicken liver so yeah I guess they love smelly, nasty, despicable food.

Going fishing with my old man down at the dam on Catawba River. Would love to know how to catch some good size fish any type of fish is fine preferably the best fighting ones....I like Cats so does anyone have a good bait that is succesful with them? But yeah any suggestions on what fish to catch and how to catch them would be great! Oh and what lure/bait.

I'd do it, I'm a small guy 150llbs so I could settle for a 50llb catfish nothing big enough to drag me under. Though I have only caught one in my entire life and it weighed 22llbs.

I was looking at buying some rattles for my Senko's and not sure what to look for (if you can buy them and install them yourself if not forget this post). If I do get some how in the world do you put them in the worm? Oh and I got some spinnerbaits and would like to put a trailer hook on there but no clue how they go on...God I feel stupid for saying that...
