right i always have used clear blue but then i was also wondering if the color has anything to do with the bass striking?

ok thanks for the info. I'll do the 50# braid and 20 # fluoro. this shouldnt interfere with me catching fish right? They'll still hit the same as light line right?

hmm so did i pick the wrong # for my braid? Im fishing a pflueger trion baitcasting reel holds (12/160 14/120 17/90) i bought sufix braid 50# (12 lb diam.) Would that be right or would i need to go smaller in braid? And if 50# braid is fine, what # fluoro for 50# braid?

if your using 50# braid what # fluoro or mono would be good if your fishing 5-30 ft of clear water?

Baitcasting is a little difficult but if you know what to do and never done it then you'll do a little better. Pros can cast that thing in several ways and rarely backlash, they make it look very simple. But you have to realize that they have been doing this for years. Once you get the hang of it, you wont want to go back to spinning unless fishing real light. Just bought the new shimano curado 100dsv and threw it on a shimano carbomax and i love it.

I recently purchased Sufix Braid for my curado 100 and Pflueger Trion, I read up on these forums and saw that some people like mono with braid or fluoro with braid. Does it really matter which one you put on? Or is it just preference? Also whats the best knot for tying to knots together? cause i heard the unit knot was good, but then i hear people using the blood knot too. Thanks again

Whats better casting on a baitcasting reel? 30# or 50# sufix braid? and whats the best flouro for it?

My question was what would best for a curado 100 bsv reel, 8lb test elite or siege, and in what color? I usually use Clear blue but im not sure if the color has anything to do with bass striking. Would i be better off with clear or smoke green? or does it even matter?

i fished sufix line for a while now and i like the way its wide spool. can i ask y u use 25 lb test flouro vs. 15?

so the best way to go would be to use braided line with flouro? What lb test of braid? and flouro?

Hey Everybody! I been fishing for years saltwater and freshwater but never really tried bass fishing. I went to diamond valley lake in california and fell in love with bass fishing. I'll be fishing that lake for a while so does anyone have tips for bass fishing? Like what lb test is the best, what color line? and some tackle tips? thanks
