battery question
I bought an 1980 ranger bass boat. I purchased a cranking battery for the 100 hp johnson and I had a dual purpose that I used for my trolling motor on my Jon boat. Is it okay to run all my electronics off of the cranking battery. (lights, fishfinder, bilge ext.) Then run my TM off of the dual purpose. Any info would be great. Thanks, Jenga

DT Rapala's
Just bought some DT's and as I was paying for them a man asked me if I have ever used them before. I said no. He proceeded to tell me that the plastic lip pops off when they run into something. He told me to take some super glue and put another layer where the plastic lip meets the body. Has anyone had that happen and is that a good idea. Thanks, Jenga

What do you use to charge your batteries
I just bought a used bass boat and needed to buy a battery. I bought a starting battery and the salesman wanted me to buy an on-board battery charger for 90 bucks. I already own a trickle charger and just assumed that would work. Please tell me what you think. Should I buy a on-board charger or will my trickle charger work. Thanks, Jenga

Battery issues
I just recently bought a used boat and I was told to use a deep cycle battery for my trolling motor and a starter battery for my motor. I am also going to hook up a new fishfinder, I was wondering should hook up the fishfinder to the same battery as the trolling motor or the starter battery. If I run it to the starter battery will I take a chance of wearing the battery down then I would be unable to start my motor. Any info would be great. Thanks, Jenga
