A few weeks ago I put a post about how I have been having problems with my trolling motor turning when fishing Lk. St. clair in 2 footers. When I would take my foot off the pedal it would turn due to the waves. Well I have found the answer. I am purchasing one of these today. If you have the same problem I would highly recomemed it. I would return and get the Revo. I have the Curado 200e7 and I like the Revo way better. Its much smoother and casts better as well Jenga

I have a motorguide pro series 70 lb thurst trolling motor. I fish Lk. St. Clair most of the time and when I use my trolling motor in 2 footers or more it is very hard to troll. The trolling motor moves with the waves. It seems that it turns to easily. I was wondering if there was a way to tighten the cable to keep it from turing with the waves. Thanks, Jenga

I agree. I have 93 merc and had it seized up due to the fact the 93 cent tube was corroded and broke no alarm went off and it cost me 6k to fix. I now mix by hand it is very easy and doesnt cost any more. I would highly suggest to remove oil injector. Don't listen to anyone who tells you different. On the older Mercs remove the oil injector. It is very tough fishing in Aug. You will have to concentrate on deep water or the rivers. Jenga

I understand stores sometimes have back orders. What I don't understand is every year I try to order something for Cabelas they don't have the stuff they are advertising in their catalog. Then when I do order they tax shipping and handling. For example. if I buy a 79.99 reel and shipping is 12 dollars then I get taxed on 91.99. I think that is BS. Jenga

Hey Grimlin, I even called the one in Michigan to see if they had it and they didn't. They also checked to see if there was any store in america that carried it. No one had the tacklebox. plus it is a 3 hr drive for me to go to the one in MI.

I hate cabelas, I recently got a 100 dollar gift card from my point rewards on my credit card and wanted to buy a few things from cabelas yesterday. I went to order two things a new spinning reel and a fto crankbait box. they preceded to tell me that the Fto tacklebox was on back order but couldnt tell me when they would receive them. So I decided to change my order to get some Strike King pro model cranks but they told me that they didnt have any in stock. So I said ok, Ill just take my spinning reel. I went through the whole process and when He told me the price I was really shocked. the cost of the reel was 79.99 but with shipping and tax I had to pay 116. I said that can't be right how much was shipping. He said 12 dollars, then I preceded to ask what the tax rate was and he said 16 percent. I blew up, I said Michigan tax is 6 percent. After all that we figured it out then I went to pay, the guy said he couldnt recognize my gift card and that he would have to transfer me over to management. I said ok then he came back and said that management wasnt there and I would have to call back again on monday. I was ticked, I was on the phone for an hour. I don't understand why they would send me a spring fishing catalog and advertise certain things but not carry all the things in the catalog. This has happened to me to many times and I will never buy anything from that store ever again. Sorry for the rant but I had to get this off my chest. Jenga

I am thinking of installing a cd player in my boat. I have a 150 gift card to bass pro shops. I really don't want to spend much more then that. I was looking at the Dual and Sony cd players but with the sony I would also have to buy the speakers. Can anyone tell me if the Dual cd players are any good or should I spend more and get the Sony. If you have anyother one in mind that retails for around 150 let me know. Thanks, Jenga

that sucks man, I am sorry for your loss. I would concentrate around the firecracker or go into the St. Clair river. most of the bass move into the river for the summer and follow the bait. I would suggest go into the river find out what depth they are in then stay in that depth and drift with the current. Tubes and drop shots in 20 to 25 fow. Jenga

I heard that story. he was stuck in the middle of the lake right over by south channel.

If it is between July and Aug. then I would concentrate where there is current and at least 14 fow.

I havent tried the cabelas suit. I can tell you one thing is that the BPS 100 mph is awesome. I have had it now for 2 yrs. I got the bibs, jacket and liner. It is the best coat and bibs I have ever used. I also use it for snowmobiling in northern michigan. I am always warm and dry. Hope this helps, Jenga

I am thinking of buying some KVD silent stalker cranks and was wondering if anyone has used them and if so how is the quality. I normally buy Lucky Craft RC 3.5 dd or 2.5 dd but am sick of spending so much. Thanks, Jenga
