What do you look forward to doing more next year? For me it's Spinnerbaits. Thats what I threw 90% of the time when I started fishing as a kid. I know over the last 2 years I only threw one once for about 20 minutes. I wanna kind of go back to the start a bit. I bought a couple of these that turn your Spinnerbait into a mini A-Rig so that looks fun.

Wow, this one hits home. This is exactly where I was at 3 years ago. Due to a back injury I developed a very bad addiction to pain meds. I can't even begin to admit how it changed my life negatively. At the time after 20+ years married my wife had had enough and rightfully kicked me out. Darkest days of my life...by far. I'll tell u what it took though. It took extreme dedication by me to learn everything about this disease and everything in my power to overcome it in hopes of a sliver of a chance things could be salvaged... which at the time didn't look good. After about a year of proving myself, it took HER willingness to see if she even wanted to try. Alot of counseling together was only a small piece of the puzzle. I can wholeheartedly say my marriage is at the best it ever has been and we LEARNED HOW TO COMMUNICATE with each other. But to your original thoughts, things probably can't be fixed while one or both are on any kind of substance. It is going to take BOTH spouses to fully commit and be willing to change for the better for one another. Then, maybe just maybe there will be a chance. Both are going to have to be unbelievably mature and willing to forgive...truly forgive. Best Wishes.

Must of been a custom run huh? I don't believe they have a Black Pointer in their regular lineup. This custom run pointer is the only Black one I've ever seen.

Funny you should say that. I can't tell you how many times lately I have thought how many fishing theories contradict other fishing theories when it comes to colors and visibility/non-visibilty!!!??

I really appreciate everyone's input! I am a color nerd, meaning i like to have all the cool colors...but i realize it matters very little most of the time. I just ordered it and we will see how this sexy lil' thing works!?

I was looking at a custom colored Black jerkbait and was thinking about when/where a Black jerkbait would be best utilized. It has been a question of mine for awhile in regards to people loving Black plastics such as worms, senkos, jig trailer etc. From what I understand some people say it excels in low visibility situations. Would the same hold true for a jerkbait??? From everything I have been learning people lean to solid whites, chartreuse and metallic colors with hardbaits in low light/visibility. Anyone want to give their .02cents??
