  1. I've had my eye on the 6'6" E6X Inshore for a while with the intent on using it for redfish in the Gulf Coast marsh. Not bulls, of course. The only reason I haven't bought one yet is I'm trying to avoid the full grip handle, which is the only option on the E6X. I'm also considering the Loomis Greenwater series.
  2. Anyone have any recent experience or interaction with Cajun Rods? I've read a comment or two online which seems to suggest the company is under new ownership and the founder, Jaesen Yerger, is no longer affiliated with the company, but I can find nothing official online to confirm this. Nothing mentioned on the web site as far as I can tell. I've emailed the company a couple of times and have never received a response. I've also tried calling and no one ever answers the phones. This was a great company at one time, with a great product. I hope things haven't changed, but I'm getting the feeling they have...
  3. St. Croix Legend Glass is the rod you need.
  4. I mostly use Tatsu, but a couple of months ago, I put Basix on a new Curado 150 MGL / St Croix Legend Glass crankbait rod. Its been fantastic so far. Have caught a lot of fish with it; no issues.
  5. Thanks for confirming that. So disappointing and unnecessary...
  6. Anyone know if Expride B are made in China?
  7. The Victory rods are great; I've handled a few of them. However, there's not a Victory model 6'6" or shorter.
  8. Anyone know anything about the short (less than 6') rods that Falcon makes for peacocks?
  9. I'm having a hard time finding a new rod that meets these parameters: - Excellent for Texas Rigs - Made in USA - 6'0 to 6'6" length - Split grip handle Any recommendations are appreciated!
  10. IMO, the 2021 Zillion is significantly better than the Tat you are considering. The Zillion is possibly the best reel I've ever used. You can get the 2021 JDM Zillion from Digitaka for about $280 shipped.
